Kali Protectives Chakra Solo cycling helmet, Solid Gls White, Large-X-Large, lightweight fused-shell with dial fit

Designed for riders who want strong protection without bulk, the Chakra Solo blends Kali's Composite Fusion construction with a slim profile and generous ventilation. At approximately 292 grams (10.3 oz), this solid-white L/XL model balances low weight and durable structure so it stays comfortable on commutes, recreational rides, and light trail use. Removable pads and a break-away visor add practical convenience, while the dial closure makes fit adjustments quick and secure.

How does the Chakra Solo protect me without feeling heavy?

The Chakra Solo uses a fused shell and EPS foam construction that integrates the outer shell and inner foam for improved energy management in a compact design. That approach allows for a reduction in material bulk while maintaining a strong protective structure, giving you safety with a minimal feel.

• Composite Fusion joins shell and foam for efficient impact energy distribution
• Half-shell profile lowers overall weight to about 292 grams (10.3 oz)
• Vent channels preserve airflow without adding unnecessary mass

What fit and comfort features keep it secure during rides?

The helmet includes a precision dial closure system that lets you fine-tune the fit with one hand, ensuring the helmet stays stable without pinching. Interior pads are soft, moisture-managing, and fully removable so you can wash them to keep the helmet fresh after heavy use.

• One-handed dial for micro-adjustment and a locked-in feel
• Locking buckle and slider system for consistent strap tension
• Quick-dry, machine-washable pads to control odor and moisture

Does the Chakra Solo suit both city commutes and light trail riding?

Yes — the Chakra Solo’s styling and functionality are versatile by design. A flexible break-away visor offers sun and debris shading useful on urban streets and singletrack alike, and the helmet’s aerodynamic yet ventilated shape makes it practical across varied riding conditions.

• Break-away visor adds sun protection and clears debris without bulky attachments
• Modern, understated silhouette fits both bike-commute and off-road aesthetics
• Ventilation layout balances cooling and structural integrity

How easy is maintenance and long-term care?

Maintenance is straightforward: removable pads wash in a machine or by hand, and the external shell wipes clean quickly. The simple strap and dial mechanisms are serviceable for routine checks, so you can keep the helmet performing well with minimal effort.

• Removable interior padding for regular washing and odor control
• Durable exterior that cleans with a damp cloth and mild soap
• Accessible adjustment components for quick periodic inspection
