D·D DYNAMIC DISCS Retro Burst disc golf 4 Pack starter set Keystone, Fuse, Saint, Ballista grippy plastic

The Latitude 64 Retro Burst Disc Golf Starter Set is a four-disc kit (Keystone putter, Fuse midrange, Saint fairway, Ballista driver) designed to get new and intermediate players on the course with reliable all-weather Retro Burst plastic.

This boxed 4-pack includes carefully chosen molds that cover the full range of shots most players need: a straight, high-glide putter; an easy-turning midrange; a controlled fairway driver; and a stable distance driver. All discs are produced in Latitude 64’s Retro Burst base plastic, giving a grippy feel, an attractive swirled appearance, and a flight characteristic that softens with use. Colors and stamp designs vary by box, and weights land in the 170–176g range—light enough for newer players to control while still offering consistent performance.

What discs come in this kit and what are they best for?

The set contains four complementary molds to cover putting, approach, control drives, and maximum distance practice. Each mold is selected to help beginners build a well-rounded bag without needing separate purchases.

• Keystone (putter) — straight flight with high glide for confident approaches and putts.
• Fuse (midrange) — understable midrange that turns easily and teaches smooth release.
• Saint (fairway driver) — controlled fairway driver for shaped lines and accuracy.
• Ballista (distance driver) — overstable driver that helps with power and headwind control.

How does Retro Burst plastic affect play and durability?

Retro Burst is Latitude 64’s entry-level plastic that balances grip, feel, and affordability. It’s firm enough for consistent release yet breaks in faster than premium plastics, gradually becoming a bit more understable as edges wear—useful for players developing throwing technique.

• Excellent grip in damp or dry conditions for confident holds and throws.
• Distinctive burst aesthetic so each disc looks unique out of the box.
• Becomes gently more understable over time, aiding learning and shot shaping.
• Affordable base plastic keeps the set accessible for beginners and practice use.

Which player skill levels and shot types benefit most from this 4-pack?

This set is aimed at new players and intermediate throwers who want a ready-to-play bag without guesswork. The chosen molds minimize overlap in function, making it simpler to practice a full range of disc golf skills—putting, controlled approaches, and both accuracy and distance drives.

• Beginners: predictable flight paths and manageable speeds for learning throws.
• Intermediates: discs that will beat in over time to expand shot options.
• Practice or casual play: suitable for park rounds, courses, or backyard practice.

What should I expect about disc weight, color, and maintenance?

Discs in this pack come in the 170–176g range, a weight band that helps many players reach a comfortable balance of control and distance. Stamp and disc colors vary, so you may receive different swirls and artwork. Routine care—rinsing after muddy rounds and keeping discs out of extreme heat—will preserve plastic feel and performance longer.

• Weight: 170–176g across all four discs for consistent handling.
• Appearance: color and stamp vary by set, each with Retro Burst swirls.
• Care: clean with water and avoid prolonged sun/heat exposure to maintain plastic.

Who is this for? Players who are new to disc golf or those at an intermediate level looking to round out their bag with four versatile, complementary discs will appreciate this Latitude 64 Retro Burst 4-pack. It’s also a convenient gift for someone starting the sport—an affordable, ready-to-play option from well-known molds that encourages quick progression and plenty of practice on the course.
