Mammut Climbing Harness Ophir 3 Slide for Men — Small Black/Marble, Lightweight Adjustable with Slide Bloc buckles

The Mammut Ophir 3 Slide is a lightweight, fully adjustable climbing harness built for gym sessions, sport routes, and alpine adventures where comfort, durability and packability matter.

The Ophir 3 Slide blends simple adjustability with rugged construction so you can move freely while carrying the gear you need. It uses Slide Bloc buckles and adjustable leg loops to dial in fit quickly, two-part webbing and abrasion protection to extend lifespan, and practical gear loops for real routes. Bluesign certification and Fair Wear garment status reflect Mammut’s commitment to responsible manufacturing.

How does the Ophir 3 Slide feel during long climbs?

This harness prioritizes breathability and an ergonomic cut that reduces pressure points on long belays or multi-pitch routes. The padding is slim but supportive, letting you stay comfortable without adding bulk.

• Ergonomic waist and leg padding for balanced comfort.
• Breathable fabrics to limit heat build-up on long approaches.
• Low-profile design keeps weight down for long days.

Can I fine-tune the fit for different layers or partners?

Yes — Slide Bloc buckles on the waist and adjustable leg loops make rapid, secure adjustments simple. You can tighten for technical moves or loosen quickly for rappels or when wearing bulky base layers.

• Slide Bloc waist buckles for one-handed adjustments.
• Leg loops with quick-release adjustment for varied clothing and body types.
• Stable tie-in loop for consistent rope positioning.

Is it durable enough for frequent outdoor use?

The Ophir 3 Slide combines two-part webbing construction with dedicated abrasion protection where rope and rock contact the harness most. This extends usable life and keeps stitching integrity intact under repeated loading and rubbing.

• Two-part webbing adds strength and abrasion resistance to high-wear zones.
• Reinforced tie-in area for durable rope handling.
• Robust gear loops and haul loop designed for regular use.

What features help with organizing gear on routes?

Mammut designed the Ophir 3 Slide with four gear loops and a haul loop so you can sort quickdraws, cams and slings without crowding the waist. Loop placement balances the load while keeping essential items reachable.

• Four rigid gear loops for clip-and-go access on sport and trad climbs.
• Central haul loop for racking or attaching a chalk bag and accessories.
• Strategic placement that keeps weight centered and balanced.
