Marine 31 Mildew Stain Remover Gel Combo — 20oz Spray + 128oz Gallon, Vinyl-Safe Non-Bleaching

Marine 31 Mildew Stain Remover & Cleaner Gel Combo is a fast-acting, vinyl-safe cleaning system designed to lift mildew, mold, and stubborn stains from boats, patios, bathrooms, and more without dulling surfaces.

Whether you maintain a boat, a vinyl-covered patio set, or a tiled shower, staining from mildew and grime is a recurring problem. This combo pairs a convenient 20 oz. spray bottle with a 128 oz. gallon refill of Marine 31 cleaner gel so you can treat spot-cleaning jobs and larger restoration tasks with the same formula. The gel’s viscosity helps it cling to vertical surfaces for improved dwell time, and the non-bleaching formula is formulated to protect vinyl, fiberglass, and coated surfaces while removing visible staining.

How does this cleaner remove mildew and stains without harming vinyl?

The formula is designed to break down mildew pigments and surface grime while being gentle on flexible and coated materials. It does not rely on harsh abrasives that can scratch or dull finishes, and it rinses clean to help preserve color and texture.

• Gel consistency adheres to vertical areas for longer contact.
• Non-abrasive action avoids scuffing or roughening surfaces.
• Safe for vinyl seats, canopies, and coated fiberglass when used as directed.
• Rinses away clean to restore visual appearance without residue.

What surfaces and situations is this combo best suited for?

Marine 31 is formulated for marine environments but is equally useful around the home. It targets mildew and organic staining on a wide range of materials encountered on boats, in bathrooms, and outdoors.

• Vinyl seat cushions, boat canopies, and rubber fenders.
• Fiberglass, gel coat, and painted surfaces on watercraft.
• Tile, grout, shower surrounds, and patio furniture cushions.
• Cooler interiors, storage compartments, and other stain-prone areas.

How do you use the 20 oz. spray and the 128 oz. gallon together?

Use the 20 oz. spray for spot treatments and quick touch-ups, and refill from the 128 oz. gallon when you need to tackle bigger cleaning jobs or maintain supply. The recommended process is brief dwell time, light agitation, then thorough rinsing for best results.

• Spray directly onto the stained area and let sit 1–3 minutes.
• Agitate with a soft brush or terry cloth for deeper lift.
• Thoroughly rinse and dry to prevent re-soiling and water spots.
• Refill the spray bottle from the gallon for repeated use and cost efficiency.

Will this product speed up maintenance or replace heavy scrubbing?

Marine 31 reduces the need for aggressive scrubbing and power washing by softening and dissolving stains, but some heavy, set-in discoloration may still require gentle agitation. Regular use helps prevent buildup so future cleaning takes less effort.

• Fast-working action minimizes forceful scrubbing.
• Ideal for routine maintenance and seasonal deep cleans.
• Helps extend the visual life of vinyl and coated surfaces.
• Works on vertical and overhead areas where rinsing is possible.
