Marinebaby 4 Steps boat ladder, 316 stainless telescoping under-platform boarding ladder with carry handle, 600 lb rating

Marinebaby 4-step telescoping boat ladder is a stainless-steel, under-platform slide-mount boarding ladder that folds compactly and supports up to 600 lbs for safe, easy water reboarding.

This ladder is designed for boats and pontoons where a low-profile, durable boarding solution is needed. Built from marine-grade 316 stainless steel with slip-resistant treads and a press-type spring latch, the ladder extends for boarding and folds flat for storage under a platform or along a swim step. It arrives with mounting screws and a carry handle for convenient transport and installation.

How does the ladder stow away when not in use?

The telescoping design pulls each step upward into a compact stack that sits nearly flush beneath a platform. A press-type spring latch locks the ladder in the folded position so it won’t release during transit.

• Folds to 18.7" (475 mm) length for low-profile storage
• Press-type spring latch secures the unit when stowed
• Mounts under a horizontal platform or to side railings
• Carry handle helps reposition or remove the ladder quickly

What materials and strength characteristics does it offer?

Marine-grade 316 stainless steel resists corrosion in marine environments while providing structural strength. The ladder is proof-tested to handle heavy users safely without deformation or failure.

• 316 stainless steel construction for saltwater durability
• Proof load rated at 600 lbs for secure boarding
• Tube thickness 1.2" provides rigid support under load
• Slip-proof plastic treads on every step for traction

What are the size and mounting details I need to know?

The ladder extends and retracts to suit a variety of platform heights and comes with necessary fasteners for installation to a horizontal surface. Confirm screw hole diameter and available clearance before mounting.

• Length folded: 18.7" (475 mm); extended: 45.5" (1155 mm)
• Overall width: 10" (255 mm); step thread: 7.25" x 1.5"
• Mounting screws included (8 screws); pre-drilled screw hole ~8 mm (0.31")
• Designed to bolt to boat floors, swim platforms, or pontoon decking

How does this ladder perform in everyday boating and maintenance?

The ladder gives repeated reliable use with low maintenance: occasional freshwater rinsing and periodic checks of fasteners and latch are usually sufficient. Its narrow folded profile minimizes obstruction on decks and swim platforms.

• Quick deployment and retraction for efficient boarding
• Minimal upkeep—rinse salt residue and inspect mounting hardware
• Compact footprint preserves deck and platform space
• Slip treads reduce slips when wet or slimy

Who is this for: The Marinebaby 4-step telescoping under-platform ladder suits boat owners, pontoon users, and watersport enthusiasts who need a sturdy, space-saving boarding solution. It’s ideal for vessels that require a secure ladder with strong load capacity and corrosion resistance, and for anyone looking to keep deck space clear without sacrificing safe reboarding capability.
