Mitre IMPEL One soccer ball, Impel One - White/Black/Sage Leaf, Size 4 — youth training, soft-touch foam & 6-panel durability

The Mitre IMPEL ONE is a soft-touch, 6-panel training soccer ball built for durable, accurate practice on grass or AstroTurf.

Designed for players developing technique, the IMPEL ONE blends a softer foam cover with reinforced materials to give consistent flight, reliable touch and longer life during repeated training sessions. Mitre reworked the panel layout and materials mix—59% rubber, 16% polyester, 18% foam and 7% TPU—to increase durability while preserving a player-friendly feel. The ball ships deflated for compact delivery and inflates quickly with any compatible pump, making it simple to take to club training, backyard sessions or individual drills.

How does the IMPEL ONE improve ball control and passing?

The combination of soft-touch foam and Hyperflow moulded grooves helps the ball settle under your foot and track more predictably through the air. Players notice steadier passes and more consistent first touches compared with generic training balls, which helps accelerate skill development.

• Soft-touch foam cover for improved feel and cushioning
• Hyperflow grooves to stabilise flight and reduce wobble
• 6-panel construction for a balanced rebound and predictable roll

Will the ball stand up to regular practice and different surfaces?

The IMPEL ONE is engineered for frequent use on both grass and AstroTurf, with a reinforced composition that increases longevity over earlier models. An air-retention bladder maintains pressure during sessions, and the blended materials resist abrasion from synthetic surfaces.

• Reinforced 6-panel build for enhanced durability
• Material mix increases wear resistance by about 10%
• Air retention bladder reduces frequent reinflation

How easy is it to set up and carry to training?

The ball arrives deflated to save space during shipping and fits neatly into training bags. Inflate it with a standard Mitre pump or any compatible sports pump in minutes, and its lightweight profile makes it simple for youth players to handle during drills.

• Ships deflated for compact storage and transport
• Quick inflation with common sports pumps
• Lightweight feel aids young players’ control and movement

What performance should coaches expect during team sessions?

Coaches will find the IMPEL ONE reliable for repetition-based training—passing circuits, shooting drills and small-sided games—because it balances resilience with a playable touch. Its predictable bounce and flight help create repeatable practice conditions so players can focus on technique rather than unpredictable behaviour.

• Consistent rebound for repetitive technical drills
• Good visibility and seam structure for easier tracking in play
• Suitable for mixed-level training from beginner to youth academy

Who is this for: The Mitre IMPEL ONE is ideal for youth teams, grassroots clubs and individual players focused on skill development. It’s aimed at coaches and parents who need a robust, predictable training ball that performs well on both natural grass and artificial turf without sacrificing the softer touch younger players require.
