MIXXIDEA 24 in Mobile Home Ground Anchors 24in-6pk, Heavy-Duty Spiral Steel with Drill Adapter

These powder-coated steel anchors combine a deep 24-inch spiral shaft with a central nut and adapter-ready head so you can install them by hand or speed up the job with an electric drill. Each anchor is corrosion-resistant and built for repeated use around yards, campsites and construction sites. The set includes six anchors and an adapter for drills, making it a convenient kit for multiple tie-down points.

How do I install MIXXIDEA ground anchors quickly and safely?

Installation is straightforward: push the anchor tip into the soil, then rotate the anchor by hand or attach the included adapter to a drill and drive it down until the spiral is fully embedded. The central nut lets you add or remove accessories and provides a solid termination point for straps or cables.

• Push anchor tip into ground until stable
• Hand-twist or use drill adapter for faster insertion
• Drive until spiral is fully buried for maximum hold
• Attach ropes, straps or turnbuckles to the central nut

What soils and conditions work best with these 24-inch screw anchors?

These anchors perform best in medium to firm soils — compacted loam, sand mixed with organic matter, and non-rocky clay provide strong purchase for the spiral shaft. Extremely rocky or frozen ground can reduce effectiveness and make installation difficult.

• Ideal: compacted loam, sandy loam, mixed soils
• Acceptable: moderate clay (avoid very wet, loose clay)
• Not recommended: heavily rocky or frozen ground
• Use extension tools or pre-drill in very hard soils

Which outdoor projects can I secure with this anchor kit?

These anchors are versatile for residential and recreational uses: secure mobile homes, small buildings, playsets, trampolines, gazebos, canopies, boat trailers and tents. The durable steel construction and 24-inch depth provide improved resistance to uplift and lateral forces for many common outdoor tie-down needs.

• Mobile homes, campers and travel trailers
• Trampolines, swing sets and playground equipment
• Gazebos, canopies, sheds and small outbuildings
• Temporary camping anchors for tents and tarps

How long will these anchors last outdoors and how should I maintain them?

The powder-coated steel finish resists rust and general weathering, giving reliable outdoor life when installed correctly. Periodic checks and re-tightening of fastenings keep anchors secure; if coating is scratched, a quick touch-up with rust-inhibiting paint extends service life.

• Powder coat resists corrosion under normal conditions
• Inspect and re-tighten straps seasonally
• Touch up exposed metal with rust-preventive paint as needed
• Store unused anchors dry to avoid long-term moisture exposure
