OutdoorMaster Kids Ski Helmet, Matte Grey, 52-56cm Small, Adjustable Dial Fit Lightweight ASTM F2040

The OutdoorMaster Kids Ski Helmet is a lightweight, ASTM F2040–compliant kids' snow helmet with adjustable fit, plush removable liners, and active ventilation for all-day comfort on the slopes.

Designed for young skiers and snowboarders, this gray size S helmet balances protection, warmth and breathability without weighing down a child’s head. Its polycarbonate shell and high-density EPS core absorb shocks, while twelve vents and a moisture-wicking liner help regulate temperature during activity. The helmet also includes earmuffs and a dial-fit system so parents can achieve a secure, personalized fit in seconds.

How does this helmet protect my child while skiing or snowboarding?

The helmet combines an impact-resistant polycarbonate outer shell with high-density EPS foam to reduce force from impacts and drops. It meets ASTM F2040 safety standards, providing reassurance that the construction aligns with recognized performance criteria for winter sports helmets.

• In-mold polycarbonate shell fused to EPS foam for controlled energy absorption
• High-density EPS core to manage impact forces
• ASTM F2040 certification for winter sport helmet safety benchmarks
• Secure chin strap and rear goggle-strap snap for added stability

Will my child stay comfortable and warm during a full day on the mountain?

The helmet is built for extended wear with a soft chin band, detachable fleece liner and plush earmuffs that trap heat while remaining washable. The interior materials are breathable and treated to resist odor, making the helmet easier to keep fresh after multiple outings.

• Detachable super-soft fleece liner and plush earmuffs for warmth
• Moisture-wicking netted mesh cap to reduce sweat buildup
• Machine-washable interior pieces for easy cleaning
• Soft chin strap reduces irritation under the jaw

How does the adjustable system ensure a proper fit for changing kids?

An integrated dial-fit system at the rear lets you micro-adjust tension to match different head shapes and growth over the season. The dial is intuitive for parents to use, and a rear snap keeps goggles aligned and prevents strap slippage during rides.

• Step-less rear dial allows precise circumference adjustments
• Fits a range of head sizes within size S parameters
• Rear goggle-strap snap secures eyewear and prevents shifting
• Lightweight construction preserves fit without pressure points

How does ventilation work without sacrificing warmth?

Twelve vents placed across the helmet create airflow channels that let cold air in and warm, moist air escape, lowering the chance of overheating during active runs. The moisture-wicking netted cap moves sweat away from the scalp so kids stay drier and more comfortable.

• Twelve strategically located vents for continuous airflow
• Venting design balances cooling with heat retention during stops
• Moisture-wicking mesh liner helps manage sweat
• Vent layout compatible with goggles and headwear layers
