Pickleball Apes Energy Series S pickleball paddle Hybrid (16.4 H X 7.6 W), Carbon-aramid face, USAPA approved for Men and Women

Pickleball Apes Energy Series S is a USAPA-approved, carbon-aramid face professional pickleball paddle built for balanced power, spin, and two-handed backhand control.

Engineered for competitive players who demand a mix of speed and stability, the Energy Series S merges a rigid carbon-aramid hitting surface with a polymer honeycomb core and an elongated hybrid profile. The result is a paddle that delivers responsive feedback, sustained durability, and a comfortable, shock-absorbing grip for long sessions. It ships with a protective cover and is tuned for tournament play within the 6.5mm thickness and 8.0–8.4 oz weight range.

How does this paddle produce more spin and power?

The Energy Series S uses a carbon-aramid composite face that provides a textured, high-friction surface to bite the ball for added spin while maintaining structural stiffness for powerful returns. The stiff face transfers energy efficiently on drives, while the honeycomb core moderates rebound for controlled follow-throughs.

• Carbon-aramid face for enhanced surface grip and spin generation
• Rigid polymer honeycomb core to optimize energy transfer and control
• Balanced swing weight (118–120) for repeatable power without excessive strain

Why choose the elongated hybrid shape for backhand and reach?

The 16.4" height and 7.6" width extend your sweet spot and leverage, making two-handed backhands easier to manage and volleys more secure. The slightly longer profile also increases reach at the net without sacrificing maneuverability for baseline shots.

• Elongated hybrid outline expands effective hitting area
• 5.5" handle length supports two-handed backhand stability
• Balanced dimensions maintain fast wrist action for quick exchanges

How comfortable and durable is the grip and face under regular play?

The paddle includes a cushioned, sweat-resistant leather-like overgrip that reduces vibration and helps prevent hand fatigue during extended rallies. The carbon-aramid face and honeycomb core are selected to withstand compression and surface wear match after match, keeping performance consistent.

• Ergonomic overgrip absorbs shock and improves hold during long games
• Wear-resistant carbon-aramid surface minimizes chipping or scuffing
• Sturdy core construction resists compression over time

What playing styles benefit most from this paddle?

Designed as an all-around competitive tool, the Energy Series S suits players who mix aggressive drives, net play, and controlled baseline shots. Its balanced weight supports quick reflexes at the kitchen line while offering enough mass for driving depth and precision placement.

• Net players who need quick reaction and punchy volleys
• Baseline competitors seeking dependable power with spin control
• Two-handed backhand users who want extra leverage and stability

Who this is for: The Pickleball Apes Energy Series S is aimed at intermediate to advanced players and tournament competitors looking for a durable, USAPA-approved paddle that blends power, spin, and maneuverability. If you prefer a slightly elongated hybrid profile with a responsive carbon-aramid face, a vibration-damping grip, and dependable build quality for frequent play, this paddle is a fitting choice.
