Rawlings Incredi-Ball 12" Yellow Softstitch Softballs, 12 Count Synthetic Leather Cover, Reduced-Weight Training

Rawlings Incredi-Ball Yellow Softstitch softballs are a 12-count set of 12" reduced-weight training balls designed to feel like a regulation softball while prioritizing safer, softer contact for practice and drills.

These Incredi-Ball softballs from Rawlings deliver a familiar softball size and authentic stitching but with a softer core and synthetic leather cover so teams, coaches, and recreational players can run high-repetition drills with less sting on impact. Sold in a dozen, the RIB12ST set is bright yellow for easy tracking in the field and works indoors or outdoors for throwing, catching, and fielding practice.

How do these softballs help during repetitive practice sessions?

The Incredi-Ball softstitch balls reduce strain during high-volume drills by combining a lighter core with a soft-touch outer shell. Players can complete more reps with less discomfort, helping skill development without switching to foam alternatives that compromise throwing mechanics.

• Softer core reduces sting on catch and impact
• 12" diameter matches regulation sizing for realistic practice
• Synthetic leather cover preserves grip and throwing feel
• Bright yellow finish improves ball visibility on grass and turf

Are these safe to use indoors and for youth training?

Yes — the reduced weight and softer construction make this set safer for indoor gym use, youth practices, and close-quarters drills. They still retain stitching and a realistic flight path so players practice with gear that translates to game balls.

• Lower impact force compared with hard softballs
• Durable synthetic leather suited for indoor floors and outdoor fields
• Bright color reduces accidental misses and improves hand-eye coordination
• Comes in a dozen so teams and small groups are covered

What performance characteristics can coaches expect from the RIB12ST set?

Coaches will notice a balance between safety and realistic handling: the ball keeps a natural seam for proper grip and spin while offering a softer catch. The consistent weight and size across the dozen support uniform drills and easier equipment management for practice sessions.

• Authentic stitching aids grip and throwing technique
• Uniform sizing across all 12 balls for consistent repetition
• Designed to mimic regulation flight and bounce within a softer profile
• Durable construction for repeated indoor/outdoor use

How should I use and maintain these softballs to maximize lifespan?

Rotate balls during practice to spread wear evenly and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or extreme heat. Wipe the synthetic leather clean after use and store the dozen in a ventilated bag or rack to preserve cover integrity and seam stitching.

• Air-dry if wet; avoid direct sun for long periods
• Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap if needed
• Store indoors in a cool, dry place when not in use
• Inspect seams periodically and replace heavily scuffed balls
