The Retrospec Zephyr is a sturdy, adjustable ski and snowboard helmet that combines an ABS outer shell, EPS impact foam, and active ventilation for confident all-day mountain use.

Built for skiers and snowboarders who want reliable head protection without sacrificing comfort, the Zephyr balances durable construction with user-friendly adjustability. Its molded ABS shell and energy-absorbing EPS liner provide a dependable barrier against impacts, while nine vents and a glove-friendly BreezeBar let you fine-tune airflow across varying conditions. Removable, washable ear pads and the ErgoKnob sizing dial make it easy to adapt the helmet for warmth, fit, and comfort throughout a long day on the slopes.

How does the Zephyr protect my head on the slopes?

The helmet uses a fully formed ABS outer shell paired with EPS foam to dissipate impact forces and reduce penetration risk. The combination is a common, effective approach for recreational snow helmets and gives you solid, predictable protection during falls or collisions.

• Rigid ABS outer shell for tough exterior resistance
• EPS foam liner to absorb and spread impact energy
• Full-coverage shape for protection around key head zones

Can I control ventilation during variable weather and exertion?

Yes. The Zephyr features nine vents positioned to promote airflow and reduce overheating during high-output runs. The BreezeBar system is operable with gloves, so you can open or close airflow channels without removing your mittens.

• Nine strategically placed vents for continuous air exchange
• Glove-friendly BreezeBar lets you adjust ventilation on the go
• Vent design helps manage warmth during long, active days

Will the helmet fit comfortably and stay secure?

Comfort and a consistent fit are achieved with the ErgoKnob dial at the rear, which lets you fine-tune tension quickly. Removable ear pads add versatility so you can prioritize insulation or a lighter, more ventilated feel depending on conditions.

• ErgoKnob micro-adjustment dial for a snug, personalized fit
• Removable, washable earmuffs to switch between warmth and breathability
• Hand-washable padding for easy maintenance and freshness

How do I choose the right size?

Measure around your head just above the ears and keep the tape level. Compare your measurement to the size ranges to find the best match; the ErgoKnob provides fine tuning once you’ve selected the correct shell size.

• Size small: 52–55.5 cm
• Size medium: 55.5–59 cm
• Size large: 59–62 cm
• Measure above the ears and keep tape level for accurate sizing
