Selkirk Sport LUXX Control Pickleball Paddle, Purple, Epic All-Around Shape, Carbon Fibre Face, InfiniGrit Surface

Engineered to deliver a balanced combination of touch and control, the LUXX Control targets players who prioritize shot placement and consistency over raw power. Selkirk blended a textured InfiniGrit surface with their proprietary Florek carbon fiber and a 19mm X7 honeycomb core to expand the playable area and provide reliable feedback on every stroke. An EVA-injected handle soaks up vibration and improves comfort during extended play.

How does this paddle improve spin and ball grip?

The LUXX Control’s InfiniGrit surface increases friction between paddle and ball, enabling more pronounced spin on serves, dinks, and drives without sacrificing durability. The finely textured carbon face maintains its abrasive properties through repeated rallies so you can rely on consistent spin from match to match.

• InfiniGrit textured carbon face for higher RPM potential.
• Durable surface designed to resist wear from repeated impacts.
• Surface texture tuned to produce predictable bite on the ball.

What gives this paddle its balanced feel and larger sweet spot?

Selkirk’s Florek carbon fiber enlarges the effective hitting area, while the 19mm X7 honeycomb core delivers a stable, controlled response. Together they create a forgiving paddle that still provides precise feedback, helping players place shots more reliably across the face.

• Florek carbon fiber construction widens sweet spot coverage.
• X7 honeycomb core engineered for even response and stability.
• Designed to reduce dead zones for improved consistency across the face.

Will the handle and build reduce arm fatigue during long sessions?

The EVA-injected handle and throat reduce transmitted vibration and add a slight cushioning effect, which helps mitigate forearm and wrist strain over extended play. The grip profile balances a secure hold with comfort, making it easier to sustain controlled swings and quick reactions.

• EVA foam in the handle and throat absorbs shock and vibration.
• Ergonomic grip circumference supports consistent hand placement.
• Construction aimed at smoother feel without sacrificing control.

How does the LUXX Control suit different playing styles?

This paddle favors players who value placement, touch, and shot control—ideal for strategic singles or doubles play where spin and accuracy matter more than sheer power. Still, its balanced design supports versatile all-court performance for players who mix soft dinks with controlled drives.

• Best for precision-minded players who use spin and placement.
• Still versatile enough for all-court tactics and transition play.
• Engineered to be dependable for both competitive matches and practice.
