Sierra Madre Emergency Fire Blanket 2 Pack, 100% Fiberglass Reusable, Quick-Unfold Flame Smothering

Sierra Madre Emergency Fire Blanket Pack of 2 is a compact, reusable fiberglass safety blanket designed to smother small household and outdoor fires quickly and without residue.

Keep immediate flame control within reach with these durable, easy-to-use fire blankets from Sierra Madre. Each blanket is woven from 100% fiberglass fabric and intended to cut off oxygen to flames, making it a fast, low-mess alternative or complement to a traditional extinguisher. The two-pack gives you coverage for multiple rooms, a kitchen and a vehicle, or one for home and one for camping gear.

How does this blanket stop kitchen or stovetop fires?

The blanket works by creating an oxygen barrier: drape it over the burning pot, pan, or surface to suffocate the flames safely. Because it’s heat-resistant fiberglass, it can tolerate high temperatures while protecting whatever’s underneath. This method minimizes splatter and eliminates chemical residues left by some extinguishers.

• 100% fiberglass construction resists high heat.
• Quick-unfold design for fast one-step deployment.
• Smothers flames without leaving messy residue.
• Safer for grease and flare-up scenarios than attempting to move a burning pan.

When should I use a blanket instead of a fire extinguisher?

Use the fire blanket for small, contained fires where smothering is practical—stovetop grease fires, clothing or small appliance fires, and campfire flare-ups. For larger or spreading fires, call emergency services and evacuate; the blanket is for initial, immediate response only.

• Best for small, contained kitchen or cooking fires.
• Ideal for wrapping around a person to protect during evacuation.
• Convenient where an extinguisher may be bulky or delayed.
• Pairs well with an extinguisher for broader preparedness.

How easy is it for anyone to use in an emergency?

Designed for simplicity, the Sierra Madre blanket unfolds and covers a fire in seconds — pull it from its pouch, hold the reinforced corners, and place it over the flames. No special training is required, making it useful for households, travelers, and outdoor enthusiasts alike.

• Reinforced corners and pull-tabs for secure handling.
• Lightweight and compact for quick access in drawers or glove boxes.
• Reusable after careful cleaning and cooling, when safe.
• Clear, intuitive use—pull, cover, and smother.

What practical benefits come with the two-pack format?

The two-pack offers redundancy and coverage: place one blanket in the kitchen and the other in a car, garage, or camping bag. Multiple blankets allow one-person fire control while another alerts help, or simultaneous response in different rooms.

• Extra blanket for separate rooms or travel gear.
• Affordable way to increase home fire readiness quickly.
• Compact pouches make storage flexible and visible.
• Great for gifting to new homeowners or campers.

Who is this for? Sierra Madre Emergency Fire Blanket Pack of 2 is made for homeowners, renters, caregivers, drivers, and outdoor enthusiasts who want a fast, low-mess tool for small fire emergencies. It’s especially useful for kitchens, RVs, camping, and first-aid or safety kits where compact, reusable protection is valued. Keep one within arm’s reach near cooking areas and another in a vehicle or outdoor pack for comprehensive everyday readiness.
