MOUNTALK Ski & Snowboard Helmet, Matte Navy Blue, Size M / 55-59 cm — Men's, Women's & Youth, Adjustable Dial Fit, Lightweight ASTM-Rated

MOUNTALK's ski and snowboard helmet is a lightweight, ASTM-compliant snow helmet with adjustable ventilation and removable ear pads designed to fit kids, youth and adults comfortably.

This helmet combines an ultra-light polycarbonate in-mold shell with an adjustable fit system so the whole family—from petite kids to adult riders—can get a secure, comfortable fit without extra bulk. Thoughtful details like ventilated ear pads, an easy-to-use dial adjuster and goggle-friendly shaping make it a practical choice for day-long runs, ski lessons and resort rides.

How does the fit adjust for different ages and head sizes?

The helmet comes in three sizes (S, M, L) covering head circumferences from about 48 cm to 63 cm, letting you select a snug but not restrictive fit. An internal dial or adjustment mechanism fine-tunes the circumference so the helmet stays centered and stable during movement.

• S size: 19–21 inches (48–54 cm) — ideal for kids and some petite women.
• M size: 21–23 inches (55–59 cm) — aimed at youth and most adults.
• L size: 23–24.8 inches (60–63 cm) — roomy option for larger heads.
• Dial-adjust fit lets you quickly tighten or loosen on the slopes.

What safety standards and protective features does it include?

The shell is made using PC in-mold construction, providing a strong outer layer fused to the inner EPS foam for impact management. The helmet meets ASTM safety standards for snow sports, offering recognized baseline protection while remaining lightweight for less neck fatigue.

• PC in-mold shell bonded to EPS liner for impact energy absorption.
• Meets ASTM certification for recreational snow helmets.
• Lightweight design reduces strain on long days of skiing or snowboarding.
• Goggle-compatible shape and secure strap routing to keep eyewear in place.

Can the ventilation and ear pads be adjusted for comfort?

Yes—an adjustable ventilation system lets you control airflow depending on temperature and exertion, so you can stay warm on cold lifts or increase breathability during hard runs. The ear pads are vented for improved temperature regulation and are designed for comfort with most helmet-compatible goggles.

• Slide or switch vents let you increase or reduce airflow quickly.
• Ventilated ear pads improve warmth control and reduce sweating.
• Ear pads are shaped for compatibility with a broad range of goggles.
• Lightweight padding offers comfort without adding bulk.

How well does this helmet work with ski goggles and accessories?

The helmet's contours are designed to pair with frameless and traditional goggles, providing a secure fit and continuous sightline. Strap channels and a recessed goggle cradle minimize gap and pressure points, making it easier to wear goggles all day while keeping them stable during runs.

• Recessed goggle cradle reduces fogging and improves seal.
• Compatible with oversized and geometric lens shapes for a wider field of view.
• Strap routing keeps goggle straps centered and secure.
• Lightweight profile reduces interference with eyewear comfort.

Who is this for? MOUNTALK's helmet is aimed at families and individual riders who want a reliable, lightweight snow helmet that fits a wide range of head sizes—kids, youth, and adults. It's a good match for recreational skiers and snowboarders seeking ASTM-compliant protection, adjustable ventilation, and comfortable ear pads, while also accommodating a variety of goggle styles for all-day slope use.
