STAR BRITE Instant Black Streak Remover Gel — clingy, fast-acting cleaner for fiberglass, vinyl (spray)

STAR BRITE Instant Black Streak Remover Gel Formula is a clingy, fast-acting cleaner that loosens and lifts black streaks from fiberglass, vinyl, metal, painted surfaces, and most plastics without heavy scrubbing.

Designed for marine and recreational vehicles, this thick gel formulation adheres to vertical surfaces and contours so the active ingredients can penetrate set-in stains caused by grime, runoff, and environmental build-up. Spray, allow dwell time, then wipe or rinse—saving time and protecting waxed or polished finishes during routine maintenance.

How quickly does the gel remove black streaks?

Removal time varies with stain age and surface porosity, but most black streaks begin to lift within minutes thanks to the high-adhesion gel that stays in place. For heavier or older staining, a second application or light agitation may be needed.

• Fast-acting gel clings to vertical surfaces for longer contact time
• Works in minutes on fresh to moderate streaks
• Repeat application recommended for deep-set stains

Will this damage paint, wax, or gelcoat?

The formula is designed to remove streaks and grime while preserving existing protective treatments like wax or polish when used as directed. Always test an inconspicuous area first to confirm compatibility with older or delicate finishes.

• Safe on fiberglass, painted surfaces, vinyl, and most plastics
• Does not strip wax or polish under normal use
• Patch-test recommended for faded or porous coatings

How do I use STAR BRITE Instant Black Streak Remover Gel most effectively?

Apply directly from the spray bottle to the affected area, let the gel dwell so it penetrates the streak, then wipe or rinse away. For vertical or contoured spots, the gel’s tackiness prevents runoff, increasing contact time and cleaning power.

• Spray evenly onto the streaked area—no pre-wetting required
• Allow a short dwell time, then wipe with a cloth or rinse with fresh water
• Repeat on stubborn streaks; follow with a light polish if desired

Can I use this product on RVs, trailers, and outdoor equipment?

Yes — the gel is formulated for versatile use across boats, RVs, trailers, campers, and many types of outdoor equipment. It’s especially helpful where streaks form below trim lines, around fittings, and on vertical hull sides.

• Suitable for marine and land-based recreational vehicles
• Effective on metal trim, plastic fittings, and painted panels
• Preserves finish integrity when used according to instructions
