STAR BRITE Rust Stain Remover Gel — Clinging rust cleaner, Spray Gel for Boats & RVs, Fiberglass/Metal Safe

STAR BRITE Rust Stain Remover Gel is a thick, clinging cleaner formulated to dissolve and lift rust and corrosion stains from boats, RVs, vehicles, and many household surfaces.

Designed for situations where liquid cleaners run away from the stain, this gel formula adheres to vertical and overhead areas to extend contact time and improve stain removal without aggressive scrubbing. It works on fiberglass, painted surfaces, metal, vinyl and select fabrics when used as directed, making it a versatile option for marine, automotive, RV and home maintenance. The easy-spray application covers large or detailed areas quickly, and the product is balanced to reduce environmental impact during normal use.

How does the gel formula make rust removal easier?

The thick gel consistency prevents the product from running off, letting active ingredients stay in place longer so they can penetrate and lift rust deposits. That sustained contact reduces the need for vigorous rubbing and helps treat vertical waterlines, hard-to-reach hardware, and under-deck surfaces.

• Clinging gel extends dwell time on vertical surfaces
• Reduces elbow grease compared with watery cleaners
• Spray application reaches detailed or irregular shapes
• Works on overhead and sloped areas without dripping

What surfaces can I safely use this on?

STAR BRITE Rust Stain Remover Gel is formulated for multiple substrates including fiberglass, painted finishes, metal, vinyl and some fabrics when following label instructions. Always test an inconspicuous spot first, especially on delicate or antique paints and fabrics, to confirm compatibility.

• Marine fiberglass hulls and decks
• Painted boat tops, RV siding, and automotive panels
• Metal hardware and stainless components affected by runoff
• Vinyl seats and trim (spot test before broad use)

How quickly will I see rust stain improvement?

Many rust and oxidation marks begin to lighten within minutes of treatment, with fuller removal after the recommended dwell and rinse cycle. Results depend on stain age, depth, and surface type; older or deeply pitted corrosion may require repeat applications or light mechanical aid after gel treatment.

• Light stains often break down in minutes
• Moderate corrosion may need a second application
• Severe or rust-pitted areas could require follow-up polishing
• Pair with a marine polish to restore long-term shine

Is this product appropriate for marine use and environmental concerns?

STAR BRITE developed this formula for marine and recreational use with attention to environmental impact during normal application. When used according to instructions—avoiding runoff directly into water and following disposal guidelines—the product balances cleaning efficacy with reduced ecological footprint.

• Formulated to minimize impact when used responsibly
• Apply and rinse in controlled areas away from open water when possible
• Follow local regulations for wash-water disposal
• Rinse tools and hands promptly after use

Who is this for: STAR BRITE Rust Stain Remover Gel is ideal for boat owners, RV enthusiasts, auto detailers, and homeowners who need a targeted, non-runny solution for rust and corrosion marks. If you routinely tackle vertical waterlines, hardware runoff stains, or stubborn oxidation on multiple surfaces, this gel gives extended contact time and easy spray coverage to simplify maintenance and restore appearance without heavy scrubbing.
