Streamlight Siege AA 200-Lumen 360° Lantern — White & Red LEDs, IPX7 Waterproof

The Streamlight Siege AA is a compact, rugged 360° lantern that delivers up to 200 lumens of white and red LED area lighting for camping, boating, and emergency use.

Built for situations where reliable area illumination matters, the Siege AA combines durable construction, multiple light modes, and a floating design in a handheld lantern sized for packs and gloveboxes. It runs on AA batteries (sold separately), offers both white and red LEDs—including an SOS mode—and includes an ergonomic handle and spring-loaded D-ring for hanging or carrying. With an IPX7 waterproof rating and two-meter impact resistance, the Siege AA is engineered to withstand wet, rough, and outdoor conditions while providing consistent, wide-angle light.

How bright is the Siege AA and what light modes does it offer?

This lantern outputs up to 200 lumens of broad, even illumination that covers a campsite, work area, or shelter. It has white and red LED options and several output levels so you can balance brightness and battery life.

• Maximum: 200 lumens for area lighting
• Multiple white output levels for task vs. ambient lighting
• Red LED modes to preserve night vision and signal
• SOS red-mode for emergency signaling

Will it survive rain, drops, and water immersion?

The Siege AA is built to handle rough use: impact-resistant materials and testing up to two meters make it drop-tough, and IPX7 waterproofing protects the electronics from immersion. The outer globe also lets the lantern float, making it suitable for boating and other wet environments.

• IPX7 rating: protected against temporary immersion
• 2-meter impact resistance for accidental drops
• Unbreakable polycarbonate lens and rugged housing
• Floating design when globe installed for water safety

How do I carry, hang, or position the lantern for hands-free use?

Streamlight designed the Siege AA with practical carry and mounting features so you can suspend it above a tent, attach it inside a boat, or carry it easily between sites. The ergonomic handle and spring-loaded D-ring give secure, flexible attachment options for quick setup.

• Ergonomic top handle for comfortable carrying
• Spring-loaded D-ring for hanging or clipping to gear
• Stable base for tabletop or ground placement
• Lightweight design that fits standard packs and storage

How long will the batteries last and what’s included in the box?

Battery life varies by selected output mode and battery type; lower white settings and red modes extend runtime. The lantern ships with product documentation—batteries are not included—so you can choose AA cells that match your expected runtime needs and budget.

• Runs on AA batteries (not included) so replacements are easy to find
• Lower outputs and red LEDs preserve battery life for extended use
• Box contains the Siege AA lantern and documentation only
• Compatible with common alkaline or rechargeable AA cells

Who is this for: The Streamlight Siege AA is aimed at campers, boaters, first responders, and anyone building a home emergency kit who needs a durable, flexible area light. It’s also a practical pick for outdoor hobbyists, vehicle owners, and caretakers who want a floating, waterproof lantern that packs down small but performs in wet or rough conditions.
