Tenergy 9.6V 1600mAh NiMH Stick Airsoft Battery & Charger, Battery Pack & Charger, Mini Tamiya, Compact Stick Fit

Tenergy's 9.6V 1600mAh NiMH stick battery and matching intelligent charger deliver reliable power for a wide range of AEG airsoft rifles and RC models using a mini Tamiya connector.

If you need a compact, high-capacity replacement battery for common airsoft guns or an all-purpose NiMH charger that accepts mini and standard Tamiya plugs, this bundle combines both into a single purchase. The battery uses eight 2/3A NiMH cells in a stick configuration to fit narrow rifle compartments while still offering rapid-charge compatibility and long runtime. The included charger is designed for 8.4V and 9.6V NiMH packs and comes with an adapter to support both mini and standard Tamiya connections.

Which airsoft and RC models will this Tenergy stick battery fit?

This stick battery fits many popular foldable-stock and compact AEGs that accommodate narrow cylindrical battery packs. Because dimensions and modification levels vary, always measure your battery compartment before buying to confirm fit.

• Compatible with models such as MP5K, MP5A5, M4A1, M4A1-RIS, CAR15 and various G36, AUG, G3 and STEYR variants.
• Also suitable for RC cars and planes that accept 8.4V–9.6V NiMH packs with mini or standard Tamiya connectors.
• Not ideal for heavily upgraded/modified AEGs without measuring the compartment first.

How long will the 1600mAh NiMH stick battery typically run during play?

Runtime varies with trigger discipline, rate of fire, motor/gearbox efficiency, and upgrades, but 1600mAh offers a practical balance of capacity and size for compact rifles. The stick format gives a high energy density for its diameter while keeping the weight and bulk down in tight spaces.

• 1600mAh capacity supports moderate to heavy field use on stock setups.
• 8-cell 2/3A NiMH chemistry provides steady voltage under load.
• Weighs about 6.7 oz and measures 20 mm diameter by 232 mm length for narrow compartments.

What does the included intelligent charger do and who is it compatible with?

The supplied charger is an intelligent NiMH charger designed to safely charge 8.4V and 9.6V battery packs and detect proper charge termination to avoid overcharging. It ships with a mini Tamiya plug and a mini-to-standard Tamiya adapter so it can serve many airsoft and RC battery types without extra cables.

• Accepts 8.4V and 9.6V NiMH packs with mini or standard Tamiya connectors via adapter.
• Intelligent charge control cuts charging when complete to protect cells and prolong lifespan.
• Backed by a 12-month warranty for replacement or support.

How do I measure for fit and charge the Tenergy stick battery safely?

Measure the internal compartment length and diameter where the battery will sit and compare to the battery’s 232 mm length and 20 mm diameter. For charging, use the included charger, connect the correct Tamiya plug, set the charger for NiMH, and monitor the first few cycles to confirm normal operation.

• Measure gun compartment clearance for length and diameter before purchase.
• Use the mini Tamiya connector or adapter provided to ensure a secure connection during charging.
• Store batteries partly charged and avoid extreme temperatures to extend service life.

Who is this for: This Tenergy bundle is ideal for airsoft players who use compact or folding-stock AEGs that require stick-style packs and for hobbyists who want a straightforward NiMH charger that works with both mini and standard Tamiya connections. It suits users seeking reliable, ready-to-install power for stock-level builds, backups for field play, or multi-purpose charging for small RC vehicles that accept 8.4V–9.6V NiMH batteries.
