PBA SPORT Carbon Fiber Pickleball Paddle Cannon — 16mm for Competitive Players, Power & Control

Built as the official paddle of The Pickle Ball Association, the Cannon combines a carbon fused surface, a reactive honeycomb core, and a fully encased carbon frame to deliver a consistent hit and a larger sweet spot. At 7.7 oz and a 16mm core thickness, it balances feel and pop for fast exchanges without sacrificing stability. The design prioritizes edge-to-edge performance and long-term surface resilience so aggressive players can press their advantages with confidence.

How does the Cannon improve power without losing control?

The Cannon pairs a carbon fused surface with a reactive honeycomb core to increase energy return while maintaining predictable ball response. The carbon frame and hyper foam edge wall add stability, so explosive shots stay on target instead of wobbling off-plane.

• Carbon Fused Surface (CFS) for stronger energy return
• Reactive honeycomb core tuned for consistent bounce and feel
• Carbon-framed design reduces flex on aggressive strikes

What feel and feedback can I expect during rallies?

Expect a crisp, responsive contact with improved touch around the net and a pronounced pop on drives. The 16mm core and tacky grip increase shock absorption, so you get clearer tactile information without excessive vibration.

• Enhanced sweet spot engineered for pro-level hits
• Good-feel tacky grip for comfort and secure handling
• Hyper foam edge wall for consistent edge-to-edge response

Is this paddle durable enough for regular play and travel?

Yes—the fully encased carbon-framed construction and the carbon fused surface were designed for longevity. Both everyday court use and frequent transport are supported by reinforced edges and a surface treatment that resists wear.

• Carbon-framed perimeter for increased strength and impact resistance
• CFS additive bonding boosts surface durability over time
• Form-injected Hyper Foam edge adds protection and balanced weight

What are the paddle dimensions, weight, and grip specifics?

The Cannon measures 16.5" long by 7.5" wide with a 16mm core thickness and weighs approximately 7.7 ounces. The grip profile is designed to fit a broad range of players seeking control and maneuverability during quick exchanges.

• Overall length: 16.5 inches; width: 7.5 inches
• Core thickness: 16mm; paddle weight: 7.7 oz (approx.)
• Grip dimensions: 5.5 in x 4.5 in with tacky, shock-absorbing texture

Who is this for? The PBA SPORT Cannon is aimed at competitive and advanced recreational players who prioritize a balance of aggressive power and precise control. If you regularly play at fast pace, want a larger sweet spot, and need a paddle built to withstand intense court time and travel, the Cannon is engineered to meet those demands without sacrificing feel.
