Viper by GLD Products Grim Reaper 80% Tungsten Soft Tip Darts, Medium Knurling, 16 Grams, Aluminum Shafts

Built around high-density 80% tungsten barrels, the Grim Reaper darts from Viper by GLD Products combine a slim profile with targeted surface texturing and locking aluminum shafts to help players place repeatable throws. This kit arrives ready to play and maintains performance over time thanks to premium materials, replaceable tips and a protective Deluxe Dart Pal case for transport and storage.

How does the 80% tungsten barrel affect my throw?

The 80% tungsten composition produces a slimmer barrel at 16 grams, allowing darts to sit closer together on the board and reduce deflections. The density of tungsten keeps the dart compact without trading away momentum, which helps with consistent aiming and tighter scoring clusters.

• Slim 80% tungsten/20% nickel profile for tighter groupings
• Smaller diameter reduces bounce-outs and crowding
• Durable metal finish resists wear from repeated play

What grip features support consistent releases?

The Grim Reaper barrels are machined with knurled bands, deep grooves and hand-painted rings that provide distinct tactile landmarks for finger placement. These features make it easier to repeat the same grip and release, which is essential for improving accuracy and building muscle memory.

• Knurled bands and deep grooves for positive fingertip traction
• Hand-painted rings offer visual and tactile alignment points
• Balanced weight distribution encourages steady flight paths

Do the shafts and tips stay secure during play?

Yes — the set uses lightweight aluminum shafts with diamond-cut etchings and locking holes to reduce loosening after throws. The package also includes spare nylon shafts and nine 2BA Tufflex II soft tips so you can swap parts quickly and keep playing without interruption.

• Diamond-cut aluminum shafts with locking holes for secure fit
• Includes spare convex nylon shafts and extra soft tips
• Flight protectors and slim high-speed flights help maintain flight shape

What accessories are included and why do they matter?

This complete kit is designed for immediate use and long-term maintenance: you get six slim high-speed flights, three extra nylon shafts, nine soft tips, a dart mechanic repair tool, flight protectors and a Deluxe Dart Pal case. Those extras mean fewer interruptions for replacements and a safer way to transport your set.

• Deluxe Dart Pal case with a hard outer shell and cloth-lined slots
• Dart mechanic wrench for on-the-fly adjustments and repairs
• Extra flights, shafts and points included for quick swaps
