VukGripz Hockey Grip Tape — Legacy Black reusable, ultra-thin high-friction wrap for wet/cold conditions

VukGripz Legacy Black hockey tape is a thin, reusable, edge-to-edge adhesive grip wrap that delivers high-friction control and a natural stick feel in wet, cold, or icy conditions.

Designed for players who demand consistent traction without added bulk, VukGripz Legacy Black replaces traditional cloth and friction tapes with a glove-friendly synthetic material. The full-surface adhesive lets you lay the tape flat or overlap cleanly, and its reusable construction peels off without leaving sticky residue so you can rewrap or switch sticks mid-session. Made in the USA and customizable with logos or names, this tape aims to preserve stick responsiveness while improving shot control, puck handling, and comfort during extended shifts.

How does VukGripz improve stick handling and shot power?

The microtextured surface increases friction between your glove and the stick shaft, reducing slip during quick maneuvers and hard releases. Because the tape is ultra-thin, it keeps the original shaft dimensions and feel, letting players maintain precise hand positioning.

• High-friction synthetic face for better puck control.
• Thin profile preserves stick flex and hand ergonomics.
• Improved contact for cleaner releases and more consistent shots.

How does the reusable adhesive work and will it damage gloves?

VukGripz features an edge-to-edge adhesive that bonds when pressed flat and releases cleanly when peeled off. The formula is designed to avoid residue and tearing, so you can reposition or reuse wraps several times without harming glove material.

• Full-surface adhesive for smooth, no-bunch wraps.
• Peel-and-reapply design minimizes wear on gloves.
• No sticky buildup left on shaft or glove after removal.

Will this tape perform in wet, cold, or artificial-ice arenas?

The synthetic composition maintains grip under moisture and low temperatures where cloth tape often soaks or hardens. Its slip-resistant texture was engineered to hold tackiness when conditions are damp or icy, keeping your hands stable during prolonged shifts.

• Weather-resistant material for consistent traction.
• Maintains grip in cold locker rooms and outdoor rinks.
• Resists water absorption, unlike traditional cloth tapes.

How easy is it to apply and customize VukGripz for different stick styles?

Application is straightforward: press the tape flat as you wrap—no stretching needed—so you get an even layer every time. Because the product is thin and flexible, it adapts to varied shaft profiles and can be trimmed or branded for personalized setups.

• Quick, thumb-pressed wrapping—no elastic stretching required.
• Trim-to-fit for any shaft size or taper.
• Custom printing available for names or team logos.
