The Winn EXCEL WRAP Midsize Golf Grip 6715W is a cushioned, tacky, midsize replacement grip that improves comfort and reduces shock for more forgiving swings.

If you’re replacing worn grips or building a new set, the Winn EXCEL WRAP Midsize delivers a blend of soft feel and dependable traction in a clean black finish. Designed with a slightly thicker polymer layer than standard grips, this model focuses on comfort and vibration dampening without excessive bulk. How does this grip change feel during play?

The EXCEL WRAP Midsize prioritizes a cushioned, responsive hand feel that minimizes harsh feedback on off-center strikes. Its polymer construction provides a gentle give that absorbs impact, helping hands feel less fatigued during long rounds or practice sessions.

• Thicker polymer layer reduces vibration from contact.
• Tacky surface offers consistent traction through the swing.
• Midsize diameter increases palm contact for a stable hold.

Is this grip easy to install on my irons and woods?

Yes — the Winn EXCEL WRAP Midsize uses a standard parallel profile that fits most club shafts and is compatible with routine regripping methods. Its modest weight and consistent shape make alignment and adhesion straightforward for DIY installation or professional regripping services.

• Parallel profile fits a wide range of shafts and club types.
• Approximately 43 grams keeps club balance consistent.
• Works with common solvent-and-tape or heat-shrink techniques.

Who benefits most from a midsize Winn grip?

Golfers who want more cushioning and a slightly larger contact area without a heavy, oversized feel will appreciate this grip. It’s particularly helpful for players with hand discomfort, golfers seeking improved control through consistent hand placement, or those who prefer a cleaner, low-texture look.

• Players needing added shock reduction and comfort.
• Those who like a fuller, more secure hand placement.
• Golfers replacing grips on irons, drivers, or hybrids.

How durable and low-maintenance are these grips?

Made from Winn’s EXCEL material, these grips balance softness with lasting performance. The smooth, minimal texture resists quick wear and stays tacky under normal conditions, while routine cleaning preserves grip life and feel.

• EXCEL polymer balances cushioning and durability.
• Minimal texture reduces dirt build-up and wear points.
• Easy to clean with mild soap and water for prolonged tackiness.
