Alleson Athletic Scrimmage Helmet Covers 12-Pack, Scarlet stretch-fit cotton/Lycra with elastic hem

Alleson Athletic Scrimmage Helmet Covers are a 12-pack of scarlet, stretch-fit fabric covers designed to protect and color-code standard football helmets during practices and P.E. sessions.

These helmet covers combine the softness of cotton with the stretch of Lycra to create a durable, breathable sleeve that slips over most standard football helmets. Designed for schools, leagues, and group training, the covers save time when organizing teams, reduce surface scuffs on helmets, and give coaches a simple way to distinguish squads during drills and scrimmages.

How do these covers fit my helmets?

The covers are one-size-fits-most and use a half-inch elastic hem to hold the fabric snugly around standard shell shapes. The Lycra blend provides stretch so the cover conforms to different makes and sizes without slipping.

• 90% cotton + 10% Lycra blend for stretch and comfort
• 0.5 inch elastic bottom with grip to secure the cover
• Designed to fit most common helmet shells used in schools and leagues

What benefits do the scarlet covers bring to practice and P.E. classes?

Bright scarlet covers make it easy to separate teams, identify position groups, or mark players in specific drills. They protect helmet finishes from minor scuffs and make cleanup and storage more orderly after sessions.

• Visible color for quick team identification on field
• Protects helmet paint and decals from wear during scrimmages
• 12-pack supplies a full squad or multiple practice groups

How durable and maintainable are these fabric covers?

The cotton/Lycra blend balances durability and comfort so the covers hold up to routine use while remaining easy to wash. Their simple construction means they withstand repeated stretching and laundering without losing shape quickly.

• Machine-washable fabric for easy maintenance
• Reinforced elastic hem minimizes fraying and slippage
• Fabric composition built to last through many practices

Can these covers be used with different helmet accessories or decals?

The stretch-fit design accommodates most external attachments but may slightly obscure low-profile decals or stickers. They work best for color-coding and protection rather than preserving small surface graphics.

• Fits over standard face masks and shell contours
• May cover small stickers or painted details; avoid on valued collectibles
• Ideal for practice, P.E., and scrimmage settings where uniform color matters

Who is this for: Coaches, athletic directors, P.E. teachers, and league coordinators who need a simple, cost-effective way to organize players and protect helmets during practices will find this 12-pack especially useful. It’s designed for groups that require consistent team colors, quick setup, and easy laundering between sessions.
