Alleson Athletic Gold Scrimmage Helmet Cover 12-Pack, Stretch Cotton-Lycra with Elastic Grip

Alleson Athletic's Gold Scrimmage Helmet Cover 12-Pack are stretch-fit helmet sleeves that protect helmets and create a uniform practice look for teams.

These gold scrimmage helmet covers are made to fit most standard football helmets and to stand up to repeated use in P.E., practices, and scrimmage sessions. Constructed from a cotton-lycra blend, the covers balance breathability and stretch so they slip on quickly and remain snug. The elastic hem with grip helps hold each cover in place through movement, while the bright gold color makes teams easy to spot on the field.

How do these helmet covers hold onto a helmet during drills?

The covers use a half-inch elastic bottom hem with an integrated grip that helps prevent slipping during motion. The Lycra content gives the fabric recovery so it stretches over the helmet and returns to shape, keeping tension across the shell.

• 0.5 in. elastic hem with grip for secure fit
• Lycra blend provides stretch and rebound
• Snug fit reduces shifting in rapid drills

Will one size actually fit different helmet models?

Designed as a one-size-fits-most solution, each cover accommodates common youth and adult practice helmet profiles. The mix of 90% cotton and 10% Lycra allows the sleeve to stretch over varying shell shapes while maintaining a consistent appearance for a group of helmets.

• Stretch fabric fits most standard helmets
• Flexible sizing works for many youth and adult shells
• Sold in a 12-pack for uniform team coverage

How does the material perform in frequent use and washing?

The heavy cotton content gives the covers durability, while Lycra improves shape retention so they keep fitting session after session. They’re suitable for regular laundering; follow garment-care guidance to preserve color and elasticity.

• 90% cotton for durability and comfort
• 10% Lycra to maintain stretch and fit after washes
• Built to withstand routine practice and scrimmage use

What practical advantages do gold covers offer for a team?

Gold covers provide high visibility for coaches and officials during practices and make it easy to differentiate squads or position groups. They also protect helmet finishes from scuffs and help present a coordinated look for P.E. classes and leagues.

• High-visibility color simplifies player grouping
• Protects helmet surface from wear and scuffs
• Ideal for schools, camps, and league practice sessions

Who is this for: Coaches, athletic directors, P.E. instructors, and league organizers who need an affordable, durable way to outfit multiple helmets for practice will find this 12-pack practical. It’s tailored for teams that want consistent, visible practice gear without rebranding helmets, and for programs that need covers that endure frequent handling and laundering.
