How bright is the Wiz Kid and is it safe for children’s eyes?

• Maximum 40 lumens gentle output for close-range activities
• Even beam pattern minimizes hotspots and glare
• Low-light modes suitable for bedtime reading or map checking
• Designed specifically to avoid excessive brightness for young users

What makes the Wiz Kid easy for children to use?

Simplicity is built into the controls and wearability: a minimal interface lets kids switch modes without frustration, and the elastic strap provides a secure, comfortable fit for a variety of head sizes. The housing is impact-resistant, so it holds up to active play and outdoor use.

• Intuitive single-button control for on/off and dimming
• Stretchy adjustable head strap fits kids of different ages
• Durable, impact-resistant outer shell for rough handling
• Lightweight design that stays comfortable during long wear

How is the battery managed and how long does it last?

The Wiz Kid uses a built-in lithium-ion battery that recharges via USB-C—no disposable cells required. An automatic two-hour shutoff helps conserve charge and prevents accidental overnight drain, making it more convenient for families on trips.

• USB-C rechargeable battery with included charging cable
• Two-hour auto shutoff to save power and extend runtime
• Rechargeable system reduces waste and ongoing battery costs
• Simple charging indicator shows when battery is full
