Champion Sports Single Knee (16.5" Long) Umpire Leg Guards Pair Black, Double-Panel Kneecaps for Mobility

Champion Sports Single Knee Umpire Leg Guards are 16.5" adult shin pads sold as a pair that combine a flexible single-knee profile with double-panel kneecaps and contoured wraparound padding for long-lasting comfort and impact protection behind the plate.

These leg guards are built for umpires who need dependable coverage and freedom of movement during baseball and softball games. The 16.5-inch length suits most adult users, and the black finish helps them match standard umpire uniforms. Designed with a single knee construction and extra layered kneecaps, they balance mobility and defense so you can crouch, pivot, and stand without distraction.

How do these guards support mobility without sacrificing protection?

The single knee design reduces bulk at the joint, allowing more natural bending and quicker footwork while the double-panel kneecaps provide concentrated protection where impacts are most likely. Contoured wraparound padding maintains a secure fit so the guards move with you rather than slip out of place.

• Single-knee profile for simplified joint movement
• Double-layer kneecaps absorb and disperse impact
• Wraparound padding secures fit during crouches and pivots
• 16.5" length covers shin without limiting stride

What materials and construction features improve comfort during long games?

These guards feature shaped padding and an ergonomically contoured exterior to reduce pressure points when you’re in a crouch for extended periods. The interior cushion and outer panels work together to keep the pads comfortable while remaining durable against repeated contact with the ground and balls.

• Contoured internal padding reduces hot spots and chafing
• Durable outer panels withstand abrasion and repeated use
• Even weight distribution lowers fatigue during long innings
• Sold as a matched pair for consistent performance on both legs

How do these leg guards fit day-to-day umpire needs and equipment routines?

The adult pro model sizing and standard 16.5" length make these guards a practical match for common umpire setups and protective gear. They slip on easily and secure in place, so pre-game preparation is fast and reliable; their black color integrates well with other umpire apparel.

• Adult pro model sizing fits most adult umpires
• Quick on/off fit simplifies pre-game routine
• Black color coordinates with standard uniforms and masks
• Pair sold together ensures uniform protection on both legs

Can these guards handle wear from frequent league play?

Built as an adult pro model, the guards use sturdy panels and reinforced kneecaps meant for repeated use across seasons. Regular maintenance—cleaning and inspection—keeps them performing, and their construction is intended to resist the common scuffs and impacts encountered behind the plate.

• Reinforced kneecaps for repeated impact resistance
• Durable shell materials endure abrasive contact
• Simple care extends lifespan: wipe clean and air dry
• Designed for consistent use in league and tournament play
