Cyalume 6-inch Military-Grade Orange Glow Sticks, 10-Pack — Waterproof, 12-Hour ChemLights

When electricity fails or light is impractical, these tactical-grade glow sticks offer an immediate, portable source of illumination. Manufactured in the USA to meet military supply standards, each 6-inch orange ChemLight is engineered for sustained brightness, durability in harsh conditions, and safe use in confined or wet environments. They’re compact, disposable, and require no batteries, making them a reliable backup for outdoor adventures, emergency kits, and professional applications.

How bright and long-lasting are these glow sticks?

Each ChemLight delivers highly visible orange light designed to remain effective for up to 12 hours under normal conditions. The formulation emphasizes steady, 360-degree illumination rather than quick flashes, so they’re useful for marking, signaling, and ambient light needs over extended periods.

• Up to 12 hours of continuous light output
• 360-degree visibility for area marking and signaling
• High-intensity orange visible from long distances

Are Cyalume ChemLights safe to use in confined or wet spaces?

Yes — these glow sticks are non-flammable and built with non-toxic chemistry, allowing safe use in enclosed areas and underwater applications. Their sealed construction prevents leakage under normal use, and the hook-and-gate top keeps them secure when hanging or attaching to gear.

• Waterproof design suitable for wet or underwater use
• Non-flammable, non-toxic materials for safer handling
• Built-in hook-and-gate top for secure attachment and hanging

How do I activate and carry these in a kit or on the trail?

Activation is straightforward: bend the stick until the inner ampoule snaps, then shake to mix the light-producing chemicals. Their compact 6-inch size fits easily in pockets, backpacks, first-aid kits, and vehicle glove compartments, and a 10-pack gives multiple uses or spares for extended trips.

• Activate by bending, snapping, and shaking — no tools required
• 6-inch length stores conveniently in packs and emergency drawers
• Bulk 10-pack provides spares for group outings or long-term preparedness

Do these meet military or professional specifications?

Cyalume ChemLights are manufactured to meet Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and NATO Maintenance and Supply Agency (NAMSA) specifications, and each product carries a National/NATO Stock Number for reference. That proven pedigree is why they’re fielded by U.S. military and government agencies for reliable lighting in demanding situations.

• Meets DLA and NAMSA procurement specifications
• National/NATO Stock Numbers printed on each unit for traceability
• Produced in the USA under strict quality controls
