Giro Ledge MIPS Snow Helmet — Matte Graphite, Size L (59–62.5cm) with Auto Loc 2 Fit & MIPS

The Giro Ledge MIPS is a hard-shell snow helmet with Multi-Directional Impact Protection, an Auto Loc 2 self-adjusting fit system, and goggle-aligned ventilation for all-day comfort on the mountain.

Designed for snowboarders and skiers who want dependable protection without sacrificing fit or compatibility, the Giro Ledge MIPS blends a rugged hard-shell build with MIPS rotational-impact technology and user-friendly adjustment features. Matte Graphite finish in size L fits 59–62.5 cm heads and pairs seamlessly with Giro EXV goggles to reduce fogging and improve sightlines.

How does the Ledge MIPS protect my head on impact?

The helmet uses a hard outer shell bonded to an EPS foam liner, plus an integrated MIPS liner that helps reduce rotational forces during angled impacts. This layered approach balances durability with energy management while keeping the shell profile sleek.

• Hard-shell construction for abrasion resistance and long-term durability
• EPS foam liner for primary energy absorption
• MIPS slip-plane system to mitigate rotational forces
• Meets common industry safety standards for snow helmets

Will the fit stay comfortable throughout a long day on the slopes?

The Auto Loc 2 Fit System offers three circumference settings that self-adjust with a supple elastic back band, and the removable vertical tuning lets you fine-tune how the helmet sits without taking it off. Removable ear pads and a comfortable interior liner keep warmth and comfort balanced.

• Auto Loc 2 self-adjusting fit for quick, reliable changes
• On-the-fly Vertical Tuning for height adjustments with the helmet on
• Removable ear pads for temperature control or replacement
• Three circumference settings to accommodate different head shapes

How does ventilation and goggle compatibility help visibility?

Front Stack Vent aligns with goggle frames to help clear airflow and reduce fog buildup on lenses, while Super Cool Vents on top let rising heat escape. Giro’s Seamless Compatibility testing means the Ledge works predictably with specific Giro EXV goggles for a consistent seal and sightline.

• Stack Vent in front to channel air across goggle lenses
• Super Cool Vents on top to exhaust hot air and regulate temperature
• Seamless Compatibility with Giro Axis, Ella, and Blok goggles
• Removable goggle retainer secures strap without interfering with fit

What convenience and accessory options are included?

The Giro Ledge MIPS accepts aftermarket audio systems, has a removable goggle retainer and ear pads, and offers a durable finish in Matte Graphite. These features make it easy to customize audio, wash or swap pads, and keep the helmet tailored to your preferences.

• Audio-system compatible—add speakers without voiding fit features
• Removable ear pads and liner for washing or swapping sizes
• Durable matte finish resists scuffs while maintaining style
• Vertical Tuning and Auto Loc 2 for fast on-mountain adjustments
