GOHASPW Rugby Helmet Soft-Shell Headguard Black – Lightweight Padded Protection, Breathable Fit

GOHASPW Rugby Helmet Black is a soft-shell, full-coverage headguard designed to reduce impact and abrasion during contact sports while staying breathable and comfortable for long wear.

This lightweight black headguard from GOHASPW combines padded protection with moisture-wicking fabric and an adjustable fit so athletes—from youth players to adults—can stay focused on the game. Built for rugby, flag football, soccer, 7v7 and other contact or collision sports, the design balances coverage, mobility and ventilation for hours of active use.

What type of protection does this headguard provide?

The GOHASPW soft shell helmet offers padded, full-coverage protection against surface impacts and abrasions commonly encountered in contact sports. It does not replace hard-shell helmets used where certified hard protection is required but gives extra cushioning and confidence during training or match play.

• Soft, impact-dissipating foam layer across crown and sides
• Fabric outer shell reduces skin abrasions
• Extended ear and forehead coverage for added contact protection
• Lightweight construction preserves mobility and peripheral vision

How does the fit and fastening system work for different head sizes?

The headguard uses an adjustable chinstrap plus an elastic rear panel to deliver a snug, customizable fit. These features make it quick to put on and remove while keeping the helmet steady during sudden movements.

• Adjustable snap or buckle chinstrap secures under the jaw
• Elasticized back panel conforms to head shape for stable wear
• Low-profile design reduces slippage without compressing the skull
• Suitable for kids, youth and adult players when properly sized

Will this helmet stay comfortable and dry during intense play?

Yes—the GOHASPW headguard uses breathable, moisture-wicking textile that moves sweat away from the skin. The fabric and internal padding are chosen to minimize heat build-up while maintaining cushioning performance.

• Breathable fabric panels promote airflow across the scalp
• Moisture-wicking lining reduces sweat accumulation
• Quick-drying materials help keep the helmet feeling fresher between sessions
• Soft inner surface prevents chafing during prolonged use

How should I care for and maintain this headguard?

Routine, gentle care prolongs the life of the headguard: hand-wash or machine-wash on a gentle cold cycle, then air dry away from direct heat. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and tumble drying to preserve the foam and elastic components.

• Hand wash or gentle cold machine wash with mild detergent
• Air dry flat, out of direct sunlight
• Check straps and seams regularly for wear or damage
• Replace if foam compression or strap failure is evident

Who is this for: The GOHASPW Rugby Helmet Black is aimed at recreational and amateur athletes who need additional cushioning and abrasion protection in rugby, flag football, soccer, 7v7 and similar sports. It's especially useful for players seeking a low-profile, breathable headguard for training, youth leagues or non-certified competition where soft protection is preferred. Coaches and parents who prioritize comfort, ease of use and a stable, adjustable fit will find this headguard a practical option for everyday play.
