Harrison Howard Riding Helmet Cover — Piano Black Bow Style Velvet with Elastic Edge

Harrison Howard riding helmet cover — a soft, stretchy velvet cover with a classic front bow that protects and dresses up your equestrian helmet (cover only).

This helmet cover is designed to protect your riding helmet from dust, light scratches, and everyday wear while giving it an elegant, show-ready appearance. Made from a lightweight, breathable velvet with elasticized edging, the cover slips over most brimmed riding helmets to preserve finish and extend the helmet’s usable life. Available in rich colors, it’s a simple way to keep your helmet clean between uses and coordinate with your riding colors.

How does this cover protect my helmet?

The cover forms a soft barrier against dirt, sweat marks, and scuffs that occur during travel, storage, or daily handling. It prevents abrasive contact and reduces cleaning frequency, helping preserve paint and surface coatings.

• Velvet face resists dust and light surface marks.
• Elastic edge secures fit to prevent slipping and exposure.
• Reduces direct handling of the helmet shell, limiting wear.

Will this fit my riding helmet?

The low-profile, light-stretch fabric is sized to accommodate most standard brimmed equestrian helmets. Its elasticized perimeter gives a snug, adaptable fit without adding bulk or changing the helmet’s silhouette.

• Slim, low-profile styling preserves helmet shape.
• Elastic hem stretches to fit a range of helmet sizes with brims.
• Not a replacement for helmets — this item is the cover only.

What styling and care should I expect?

Finished with a tasteful bow at the front, the cover elevates your helmet for lessons, shows, or everyday turnout. It’s crafted from breathable velvet that feels soft to the touch and is offered in several lasting colors.

• Classic front bow for a polished, equestrian look.
• Hand wash only at 65–85°F (30°C) to preserve color and texture.
• Color choices include Hunter Green, Piano Black, Burgundy, and more.

How does this extend helmet service life?

By shielding the helmet from grime and small abrasions, the cover helps maintain surface condition so the helmet needs fewer cleanings and shows less wear. Keeping the outer shell intact can delay cosmetic deterioration over time.

• Limits direct exposure to dirt, reducing surface wear.
• Minimizes the need for abrasive cleaning chemicals or scrubbing.
• Helps preserve paint and finish between professional inspections.
