Lormandy Water Filter Straw, Ultra-Light Personal Microfilter, Navy, Size 1PCS — 800ml/min, BPA-Free ABS

Lormandy's New Model Ultra-Light Water Filter Straw is a pocket-sized personal filter that delivers on-the-go safe drinking water by removing particles and improving taste.

Compact and engineered for outdoor use, this updated Lormandy filter straw combines a high-precision microfiltration element with lightweight, food-grade ABS construction. It is designed for hikers, campers, travelers, and emergency kits who need a fast, portable way to access cleaner water from streams, lakes, or bottles without carrying heavy treatment equipment.

How does the Lormandy straw make water safer to drink?

The straw uses a fine pore filtration element that traps sediments and reduces unpleasant tastes, helping users draw water directly at the source. It’s not a chemical purifier, but it significantly improves clarity and palatability for many natural water sources when used properly.

• High-precision pore structure captures particulates and larger contaminants.
• Triple-tested filtration performance during manufacturing ensures consistency.
• Food-grade, BPA-free ABS housing prevents plastic taste and contamination.
• Regular backflushing restores flow and prolongs filter life.

How do I use and maintain the filter straw in the field?

Using the Lormandy straw is straightforward: sip directly from a water source or place it in a filled container and draw water through. To keep the element working, perform occasional backflushes by forcing clean water through the straw in reverse; cleaning frequency depends on source turbidity.

• Drink directly from streams or lakes, or insert into standard water bottles.
• Backflush after heavy sediment exposure to maintain ~800 ml/min flow rate.
• Store dry and away from contaminants between uses to extend lifespan.
• Replace or retire after the rated throughput (up to about 5,000 liters) or if damaged.

What are the weight and capacity limits for backpacking or emergency kits?

The unit weighs under 1.8 ounces, making it easy to carry on a keychain, in a pocket, or clipped to pack webbing without adding meaningful bulk. Under typical conditions the straw can process thousands of liters, though actual life depends on water quality and maintenance.

• Ultralight design fits EDC kits, bugout bags, and backpack pockets.
• Flow rate approximately 800 ml per minute for fast hydration on-the-go.
• Estimated lifetime capacity up to 5,000 liters, based on use and care.
• Compatible with gravity systems and many reusable water bottles.

Who is this for?

The Lormandy Ultra-Light Water Filter Straw suits outdoor enthusiasts, emergency preppers, international travelers, and anyone who wants a low-weight, simple water treatment option. It’s ideal when weight and space matter and when you need immediate access to clearer-tasting water from natural sources. Note: this device improves clarity and taste through mechanical filtration and should be paired with additional disinfection if chemical or viral contamination is a concern in your travel or emergency scenario.
