Marucci Adult Sliding Mitt, Brown, Size Adult — Reversible Neoprene Fit with Dual Protective Plates

The Marucci Adult Sliding Mitt in brown is a reversible-fit sliding glove that shields both sides of your hand and fingers for confident slides and safer base running.

This sliding mitt is built to protect players who need dependable hand coverage when diving into bases. Designed to be worn on either hand, the mitt combines molded protection with a snug neoprene body and an adjustable wrist strap so it stays put during aggressive slides. It’s lightweight, easy to remove with one hand, and sized to fit most adult players.

How does this mitt protect my hand during slides?

The mitt uses rigid protective plates positioned to cover the palm side and the back of the hand, minimizing impact and abrasion when contacting dirt or bases. The shell elements are integrated into the mitt so protection doesn’t shift during play.

• Hard coverage plates over fingers and hand on both sides
• Full-finger shielding to prevent direct abrasion
• Coverage positioned to absorb contact from different slide angles

Can I wear this mitt on either hand, and how does the fit work?

The design includes thumb access points on both sides so you can put fingers inside or leave the thumb out, allowing use on either the left or right hand. The neoprene body stretches for a compression fit that feels secure without being restrictive.

• Dual thumb openings accommodate left- or right-hand use
• Compression-fit neoprene conforms to most adult hand sizes
• Elastic wrist strap with a pull tab keeps the mitt secure and easy to remove

How quickly can I remove the mitt during play, and is it adjustable?

An elastic hoop-and-loop wrist strap with a pull tab lets you tighten the mitt for a locked-in feel and release it quickly with one hand when you need to transition from sliding to fielding. The simple closure balances security and rapid removal.

• Hook-and-loop strap for fast adjustments on the fly
• Pull tab designed for one-handed emergency or routine removal
• Elastic elements maintain fit during motion without frequent re-tightening

What makes this mitt a practical choice for adult players?

It’s a streamlined, multipurpose sliding mitt that brings robust protection without excessive bulk. The neutral brown color is understated and the one-size-fits-most approach simplifies gear choices for teams and recreational players alike.

• Low-profile protection suitable for competitive or recreational play
• One-size design reduces the need for multiple models
• Durable materials built for repeated slides and daily use
