MVP Disc Sports Eclipse Glow 2.0 Glitch Hybrid Catch Disc, 160–165 g, High Glide Neutral Flight, PDGA Approved

The MVP Disc Sports Eclipse Glow 2.0 Glitch is a lightweight, hybrid catch disc built for long, floaty throws, night visibility, and versatile practice use.

The Glitch combines MVP’s signature overmold technology with a high-performance Eclipse Glow 2.0 plastic to deliver a disc that feels lively on throws, holds a gentle line in the air, and remains visible after sunset. It’s an approachable 7 mm class disc with a neutral flight profile that works equally well for casual catch, warmups, scramble shots, and glide-dependent putts or approaches. PDGA approval means it’s legal for competition play, while the durable glow material extends useful hours for evening sessions.

What flight characteristics make the Glitch useful in practice rounds?

The Glitch lives in the 7 mm class with a flight rating focusing on glide rather than speed or fade. With a Speed 1, Glide 7, Turn 0, Fade 0 profile, it maintains a steady, floaty plane and resists sharp turnovers or hard finishes. That makes it ideal for rehearsing smooth release and judging distances without sudden flight surprises.

• Exceptional glide for longer, controlled float and hang time.
• Neutral turn and fade for predictable, straight lines.
• Low speed reduces strain on release technique during warmups.

How does the Eclipse Glow 2.0 material perform in low light?

Eclipse Glow 2.0 is MVP’s premium glowing plastic engineered for visibility after dark while retaining a firm, consistent rim feel. It charges under sunlight or artificial light and maintains luminance for evening rounds, so you can track flight paths and find discs more easily. The material is engineered for durability, keeping edges and flight characteristics consistent over many rounds.

• High-visibility glow that charges quickly and stays bright.
• Durable plastic reduces dings and wear over time.
• Consistent rim feel for repeatable release and grip.

When should I reach for the Glitch during a round or practice session?

The Glitch shines when you want dependable, glide-focused throws without aggressive fade or turn. Use it for warmups to groove your throwing motion, for long putt practice where hang time helps line work, or for scramble approaches when you need controlled distance. It’s also a fun disc for casual games of catch where long, floaty throws are desirable.

• Warmups: low-speed, high-glide reps to loosen throwing mechanics.
• Long putts and practice: extra hang time for aiming and pace.
• Scramble approaches: reliable, straight-to-soft-landing flights.

Is the MVP Glitch legal for tournaments and which player types benefit most?

Yes — the Glitch is PDGA approved for tournament play, making it suitable for competitive use that allows 160–165 gram mid/putter options. Its forgiving, neutral flight benefits beginners learning angles and experienced players adding a dependable glide tool. The disc’s combination of low speed and strong glide makes it a versatile addition to most bags.

• PDGA approval ensures tournament legality.
• 160–165 grams fits many player preferences for control and feel.
• Useful for all skill levels seeking a predictable, glidey disc.

Who is this for? The MVP Eclipse Glow 2.0 Glitch is for players who want a lightweight, high-glide hybrid that’s visible at night and stable in fair weather. It’s a smart choice for anyone wanting an everyday warmup disc, a long-putt practice tool, or a fun catch disc that performs reliably in both casual and competitive settings.
