yikundiscs Disc Golf Distance Driver XI HE — PDGA-Approved 170–175g GLAZE X, Low Long Flights

The Yikun XI HE Glaze Line xihe is a PDGA-approved right-tilted distance driver engineered for long, low flights and controlled dogleg shots.

Built from Yikun's eye-catching GLAZE X plastic, the XI HE combines a uniquely ceramic-like finish with a flight profile designed for maximum distance and predictable turn. With a high-speed rating and pronounced negative turn, this disc is tuned to cut through wind and hold a low descent, making it a favorite for players who want to shape long lines and exploit rolling terrain. It meets PDGA dimensions and weight limits and is offered in the 170–175g range for competition play.

How does the XI HE help me throw longer, lower lines?

The XI HE's Speed 9 and Turn -3.5 produce a strong initial glide that resists early fade, allowing the disc to hold an understable, low-trajectory arc. That combination helps the disc carry farther before slowing, and its minimal fade (0.5) reduces late drops that would shorten distance. Players who accelerate it well will see extended roll potential on suitable fairways.

• Speed 9 for fast initial velocity and long carry
• Turn -3.5 for sustained understability and late correction
• Fade 0.5 to avoid harsh late hooks and maximize forward momentum
• Low descent angle tailored for doglegs and rolling finishes

What makes the GLAZE X plastic special for performance and looks?

GLAZE X offers a ceramic-like surface and radiant lines that create a shimmering appearance in flight, giving each disc a premium visual effect. Beyond aesthetics, the plastic balances grip and stiffness so your throws feel consistent across speeds. The texture also helps with release feel and control in different weather conditions.

• Ceramic texture for distinctive shimmer and on-throw visibility
• Durable compound tuned for competition weight retention
• Grip-enhancing surface for secure releases even at high speed
• Eye-catching finish helps spot discs mid-flight

Is the XI HE legal for tournaments and what are its key dimensions?

The XI HE is PDGA-approved and built to fit official tournament standards for diameter, rim width, and maximum weight. Its physical measurements give it a stable rim profile and enough rim depth for repeatable releases. Competition-ready weight options keep your disc legal and consistent round after round.

• PDGA-approved for tournament use
• Diameter: 212 mm; Rim Width: 18 mm
• Rim Depth: 12 mm; Thickness: 19 mm
• Maximum weight approximately 177.6 g; offered 170–175 g for competition

How should I use the XI HE in my rounds and what shots suit it best?

Use the XI HE for controlled distance drives, long hyzer-flip lines that flatten, and dogleg fairways where a low-turning path is needed. It excels when you need the disc to hold understable flight early and come back gently at the end. Players who work with roll-friendly landings will find extra yardage on firm or sloped terrain.

• Ideal for long, understable drives that need to flatten out
• Great for dogleg lines and long hyzer-flip throws
• Performs well when you aim for forward roll after landing
• Pairs well with controlled arm speeds and clean releases

Who is this for: The Yikun XI HE Glaze Line xihe is aimed at intermediate to advanced players who want a competition-legal distance driver with strong understability and a low end-of-flight descent. It's also a solid choice for evolving players who are experimenting with long drives, hyzer-flips, and roll strategies and who appreciate a premium, attention-grabbing finish on their discs.
