Pactrade Marine Adjustable Padded Kayak Seat Black Gray, Detachable Backpack, Brass Clips, 1 Pack

Pactrade Marine’s Adjustable Padded Kayak Seat is a removable, ergonomically contoured backrest and cushion with brass clips, adjustable straps, and a detachable storage backpack for more comfortable paddling.

This deluxe kayak backrest combines thick EVA foam, a PE support plate and UV-resistant neoprene to give sit-on-top kayakers, canoeists and SUP paddlers better lumbar support without complicated installation. Designed to fit the majority of kayaks and inflatable sit-on-top craft, the seat attaches quickly using four adjustable webbing straps and rust-resistant brass clips. A detachable zippered storage backpack gives easy access to snacks, tools or small personal items while keeping them secure on the water.

How does this seat attach to my kayak and stay secure?

Attachment is straightforward: four heavy-duty webbing straps loop around common mounting points on most kayaks and canoes. Each strap is adjustable so you can fine-tune angle and tension; brass clips resist corrosion and simplify clipping and unclipping at the shore or on the move.

• Four adjustable front and rear straps with quick-release buckles
• Rust-proof brass clips for fast, reliable connection
• Works with sit-on-top kayaks, inflatables, canoes and some paddle boards

Will it actually feel comfortable during long paddles?

The backrest uses an extra-thick padded contour plus EVA foam in the cushion to reduce pressure points and add shock absorption. A PE plate inside the back panel provides structural support so the cushion keeps its shape over time, helping reduce fatigue on extended outings.

• Non-slip contoured surface for stable back contact
• UV-resistant neoprene and 600D polyester outer layers for durability
• EVA foam padding and internal PE plate for lasting support

What can I store in the included detachable backpack and how big is it?

The supplied storage backpack zips closed and mounts to the rear of the seat, offering a shallow but useful compartment for essentials. It stretches to hold items about 4½ inches deep and keeps small gear within easy reach without interfering with paddling motion.

• Backpack dimensions: approx. 10" x 13" with 4½" storage width
• Zippered main pocket secures food, tools, hats or phone in a dry spot
• Flat mounting surface aligns with the backrest and detaches quickly

What are the seat dimensions and material highlights?

The back support and seat cushion are sized to cover typical paddler positions while remaining compact for storage. Materials focus on weather resistance and comfort, striking a balance between padding and structural support so the seat performs well in coastal, river or lake conditions.

• Back support: 17" long x 19.75" wide; seat cushion: 14" x 12"
• Folding section length approximately 7.5" for compact storage
• Constructed from neoprene, 600D polyester, EVA foam and a PE support plate

Who is this for? If you spend hours on a sit-on-top kayak, inflatable kayak, canoe or large SUP and want a quick-install seat that improves back comfort while carrying a few essentials, this Pactrade Marine padded backrest with detachable backpack is a practical upgrade. It’s aimed at recreational anglers, weekend paddlers, touring hobbyists and anyone who needs extra lumbar support and on-deck storage without modifying their craft.
