Paddletek Bantam EX-L paddle Barium (Green) medium-weight polycarbonate face Bantam PolyCore, high-tack grip

The Paddletek Bantam EX-L is a USAPA-approved, medium-weight pickleball paddle built with a Bantam PolyCore honeycomb interior and a high-tack cushioned grip for balanced power, control, and consistent feel.

Engineered for players who want a reliable all-around paddle, the Bantam EX-L pairs a responsive polymer honeycomb core with a polycarbonate surface to deliver predictable ball response and a roomy sweet spot. This model balances lightweight maneuverability with enough mass to produce power when needed. The edge guard and vibration-absorbing grip make it comfortable for long sessions, while the paddle's dimensions and weight fall within competitive play standards.

How does the Bantam EX-L improve control and accuracy?

The paddle's Bantam PolyCore honeycomb core is tuned to offer consistent dwell time and even response across the face, helping place shots more predictably. The polycarbonate hitting surface provides a controlled rebound, reducing wild deflections and allowing cleaner directional control.

• Polymer honeycomb core for steady, repeatable ball response
• Polycarbonate face that balances spin and control
• Full-sized face increases margin for error on shot placement

Will this paddle generate enough power for aggressive play?

Despite its medium-weight build, the Bantam EX-L stores and transfers energy efficiently thanks to the core-to-face pairing, enabling decisive drives and deep returns. The weight distribution supports explosive strokes while staying light enough for quick wrist action and reaction volleys.

• Optimized weight balance for controlled power without sacrificing speed
• Responsive core converts swing speed into reliable punch
• Large sweet spot increases effective hitting area for stronger shots

How comfortable is the grip for extended play and managing vibration?

The paddle comes with an ultra-cushion, high-tack performance grip that prioritizes comfort and secure hold. The cushioning reduces hand fatigue over long matches and the tackiness helps maintain control even during fast exchanges. Together with a 1/8" edged shock guard, the setup minimizes harsh feedback from hard impacts.

• High-tack surface improves hold during fast rallies
• Cushioning absorbs shock and reduces hand fatigue
• 1/8" edge guard for added durability and impact protection

Is the Bantam EX-L competition-ready and durable for regular use?

Yes — the paddle meets USAPA specifications for size, weight, and surface, making it suitable for tournament play. Materials and construction focus on longevity, with a reinforced edge and quality core that stand up to frequent play without sacrificing performance.

• USAPA approved dimensions and surface compliance
• Durable polymer honeycomb core resists compression over time
• Protective edge guard extends paddle life through regular use
