PHILIPS SFL3255 LED Rechargeable Headlamp — 1500 Lumen, Aerospace‑Grade Aluminium, 5 Modes

The PHILIPS SFL3255 is a rechargeable, aircraft‑grade aluminium LED headlamp delivering up to 1500 lumens of adjustable light for hands‑free outdoor and repair tasks.

Designed for demanding outdoor use and everyday hands‑free jobs, this compact PHILIPS headlamp pairs high output with durable construction and user‑friendly features. Its 180° tilting beam, five lighting modes and USB rechargeability make it a versatile choice for camping, running, repairs and emergency kits. The housing is CNC‑machined from aerospace‑grade aluminium for impact resistance and faster heat dissipation, while the included strap and cap clip offer multiple mounting options.

How bright is the SFL3255 and how far does it reach?

At full power the headlamp produces up to 1500 lumens, providing a long, focused beam suitable for trails, search tasks and night work. The integrated LED and reflector design concentrate light for visible range while multiple modes conserve battery when full brightness isn’t needed.

• Maximum output: 1500 lumens.
• Beam range up to approximately 300 metres at peak power.
• Five modes: High, Medium, Low, Faint, Strobe for task flexibility.
• Adjustable 180° tilt to direct light where you need it.

How do I recharge and maintain the battery?

The SFL3255 includes a built‑in 1100 mAh lithium battery and charges via the supplied USB cable for convenient top‑ups from power banks, car ports or wall adapters. To protect battery life, avoid allowing the battery to remain fully depleted for long periods and follow the initial unsealing step before first charge.

• Integrated 1100 mAh lithium battery with USB charging.
• Charge from USB power bank, laptop or USB wall adapter.
• Avoid prolonged full discharge to extend battery lifespan.
• Remove insulating sheet and screw cap back on before first use.

Is the headlamp rugged enough for outdoor use and transport?

Yes—crafted from aerospace‑grade aluminium alloy, the housing resists abrasion and impacts while dissipating heat more quickly than plastic. The unit is lightweight and comes with an adjustable non‑slip headband plus a magnetic rear attachment and cap clip for different carry options.

• Aerospace‑grade aluminium housing for durability and heat control.
• Lightweight: ~84 g (body only), ~94 g with headband attached.
• Drop resistant, waterproof construction suitable for outdoor conditions.
• Includes magnetic rear attachment and cap clip for hands‑free mounting.

What practical features help during specific activities like running or repairs?

The SFL3255’s adjustable beam, multiple brightness levels and compact weight make it practical for fast‑paced activities and delicate work. You can dial down brightness to save power during long outings or choose strobe for signaling—while the tilt mechanism keeps the beam pointed exactly where you need it.

• Low and faint modes extend runtime for long excursions.
• Strobe mode doubles as a visible emergency signal.
• 180° angle adjustment for working at different heights and angles.
• Cap clip and elastic headband for running, cycling, or workshop use.

Who is this for? Outdoor enthusiasts, tradespeople and anyone who needs reliable hands‑free illumination will find the PHILIPS SFL3255 useful. Its balance of high lumen output, rugged aluminium build and convenient rechargeability suits campers, hikers, night runners, home mechanics and first‑response kits. If you want a lightweight, durable headlamp with multiple mounting options and straightforward controls, the SFL3255 is built to perform.
