NVAAV Pitching Target Strike Zone Trainer, Full-Size 27.1×20.8 – 9-Section Numbered, Durable Coated Fabric

The NVAAV Pitching Target with Strike Zone is a full-size, 9-section numbered target net designed to sharpen pitching and hitting accuracy for baseball and softball players.

Built from reinforced ethylene-coated fabric and fitted with metal buckles and adjustable hanging ropes, this compact strike-zone trainer creates a repeatable target for throwing drills, batting practice, and defensive repetition. Its alternating white and yellow numbers outline the nine-zone strike grid and make the hitting aperture easy to see in a variety of light conditions, while the sturdy construction stands up to repeated ball impact.

How does the numbered nine-section layout improve training?

The nine-number grid divides the strike zone into clear, targetable sections so pitchers and hitters can practice zone-specific skills. Numbering helps coaches call precise targets and lets players measure progress by honing consistency to particular zones.

• Alternating white and yellow numbers increase visual contrast for quicker target acquisition.
• Distinct 7.4" x 5" center hole gives a consistent aiming point for strikes.
• Grid format supports drills for low/inside, high/outside, and other situational pitches.

What makes installation flexible and durable?

Each corner includes reinforced metal buckles and elastic rope loops so you can mount the target to nets, frames, fences, or portable pitching screens. The adjustable ropes range from 25.5" to 51" to fit varied hanging heights and practice setups.

• Metal buckles resist deformation during repeated hits.
• Corner reinforcement prevents tearing where stress concentrates.
• Elastic loop options accommodate both tight and slack installations.

Will this target hold up to regular use?

Constructed from thickened ethylene-coated fabric, the target is engineered to absorb impact and resist abrasion during frequent pitching and batting sessions. The reinforced mounting points and upgraded hardware extend its usable life compared with thin cloth alternatives.

• Thick coating cloth tolerates repeated ball strikes without rapid wear.
• Upgraded metal buckles and reinforced corners reduce failure risk.
• Suitable for both baseball and softball velocities within normal practice ranges.

What are the dimensions and how do they fit practice routines?

At 27.1" x 20.8", the target covers a full-size strike area appropriate for beginner and intermediate players. The central hole measures 7.4" x 5", large enough to reward accurate pitches while still requiring precise placement.

• Full-size panel mirrors a realistic strike zone footprint for skill transfer.
• Adjustable hanging length fits indoor cages, backyard frames, or portable nets.
• Compact packaging makes it easy to move between practice locations.
