Rawlings Protective Leg Guard for Adult Baseball/Softball — Black, Ready-to-Wear Impact Shield with Elastic Straps

Rawlings Protective Leg Guard is a ready-to-wear lower-leg shield that protects adult batters from foul balls and pitches while offering an adjustable, comfortable fit.

Built for baseball and softball players who need straightforward protection at the plate, this adult-sized leg guard from Rawlings combines an impact-flex shield with elastic straps for quick on-and-off use. There’s no heat molding required, so the guard can be used straight from the pouch during games, practices, and batting practice sessions. The black finish gives a low-profile look that pairs with most team colors and uniforms.

How does this leg guard protect me during a game?

The guard uses a molded impact shield that disperses force across the surface, reducing localized impact on the shin and lower leg. Its form flexes with your movement to maintain coverage without restricting your swing or run mechanics.

• Molded impact shell to spread force
• Flexible design that moves with your leg
• Coverage targeted to the shin and lower calf

Do I need to mold or customize the guard before wearing it?

No molding or heat shaping is necessary—this Rawlings leg guard is game-ready out of the package. The elastic strap system lets you fine-tune the fit instantly so you can get back into the batter’s box quickly.

• Ready-to-wear; no heat process required
• Elastic strap for fast adjustments
• Works straight from the bag during pregame routines

Will this guard stay secure without slipping mid-play?

The adjustable elastic strap system is designed to hold the guard in place through movement and quick footwork. Its contoured shape and strap placement help keep the shield aligned with the shin, minimizing rotation or slide while batting or running bases.

• Contoured fit matches lower-leg anatomy
• Elastic straps lock the guard gently but firmly
• Lightweight construction reduces swing interference

What sizes and situations is this guard suited for?

Offered in adult sizes, the Rawlings leg guard fits most adult batters who want simple, reliable lower-leg protection for games and practices. It’s ideal for players who prioritize convenience and fast fitting without custom molding.

• Available in adult sizing for youth-advanced players and adults
