Schutt F7 AiR Youth Football Helmet, Molded Gloss White, Size Medium, Tektonic Mohawk and HSS Jaw Pads

The Schutt F7 AiR Youth Football Helmet delivers the F7 Pro's five-star Virginia Tech protection in an ultra-light, youth-sized shell with an inflatable comfort liner and Helmet Stabilization System for a customizable fit.

The Schutt F7 AiR Youth adapts pro-level engineering for younger players, balancing low weight with impact-management features proven by independent lab testing. Designed to meet and exceed NOCSAE youth standards, this model combines an innovative shell geometry, the Tektonic Mohawk deformable crown, HSS jaw pads, and an inflatable air liner so coaches and parents can prioritize both comfort and safety without adding bulk.

How does the F7 AiR Youth reduce impact forces while staying light?

The F7 AiR Youth uses tuned shell flex zones and the Tektonic Mohawk to disperse and redirect energy away from critical contact points. The AiR family emphasizes a favorable performance-to-weight ratio so helmets don’t have to be heavy to be effective.

• Tektonic Mohawk flex chamber reduces linear and rotational load paths
• Engineered shell geometry for targeted flex where impacts occur
• Lightweight construction to minimize added mass on youth necks

What features improve fit and on-field comfort for younger players?

Fit customization comes from the Inflatable Air Liner and Helmet Stabilization System (HSS) jaw pads, which allow precise adjustment around the head and jaw. Combined with a low-profile shell and padding layout, the helmet stays comfortable across practices and games.

• Inflatable Air Liner lets you fine-tune internal volume and feel
• HSS jaw pads stabilize the helmet without constricting movement
• Pre-installed facemask reduces setup time and ensures consistent fit

What do independent lab ratings and standards say about this helmet?

The F7 AiR Youth models earned top ratings from the Virginia Tech Helmet Lab and meet or exceed NOCSAE youth standards, reflecting strong independent performance across multiple test scenarios. This is a performance-backed choice for youth programs focused on evidence-based equipment decisions.

• Virginia Tech five-star rating across F7 AiR designs
• Manufactured to comply with NOCSAE youth specifications
• Pre-assembled with carbon steel facemask for consistent testing and use

How easy is it to set up and maintain this helmet for a team?

The F7 AiR Youth ships ready-to-wear with an attached carbon steel facemask and an adjustable inflatable liner, reducing time spent assembling or adjusting helmets on the sideline. Routine care is straightforward: clean liners and exterior surfaces per Schutt guidelines, and check air liner pressure and hardware before each use.

• No assembly required—facemask and hardware pre-installed
• Inflatable liner is simple to inflate or deflate for fit tuning
• Durable materials made for repeated practices and seasonal play
