The Schutt V-EGOP II-TRAD-NB facemask is a carbon-steel, position-specific facemask engineered to fit all sizes of Schutt Vengeance varsity football helmets.

This facemask is made to combine proven durability with an open sightline and secure protection for skill-position players. Designed for running backs, wide receivers, tight ends and defensive backs, the V-EGOP II-TRAD-NB pairs with Schutt Vengeance helmets to maintain proper alignment and meets typical competitive play needs while using carbon steel—the most common facemask material in football—for strength and impact resistance.

How does this facemask improve sightlines and visibility on the field?

The V-EGOP II-TRAD-NB uses a traditional bar layout that prioritizes a wide forward view while keeping essential facial coverage. The bar spacing and open middle section reduce visual obstruction, helping receivers and defensive backs track the ball and opponents more easily.

• Open-center design for clear forward vision
• Strategic bar placement to minimize face shadowing
• Low-profile layout that preserves peripheral awareness

Will this facemask fit my Schutt Vengeance helmet and different helmet sizes?

Yes—the V-EGOP II-TRAD-NB is manufactured specifically to fit all sizes of the Schutt Vengeance varsity helmet line. Whether you have a youth, junior or adult shell, the facemask mounting geometry matches Vengeance helmets for proper attachment and safe performance.

• Built to Schutt Vengeance helmet specifications
• Compatible with standard Vengeance faceguard mounting points
• Same fit across youth, junior and adult helmet sizes

What are the construction and durability features of this facemask?

The facemask is built from carbon steel, a material widely used in football for its balance of stiffness, resilience and cost-effectiveness. The finish and welds are produced to withstand routine impacts, maintaining structural integrity through normal game and practice use.

• Carbon-steel construction for proven strength
• Reinforced weld points to resist bending under load
• Protective coating to limit corrosion and wear

Is this facemask suited for my playing position and style?

Yes—the design is optimized for quick-change direction, ball tracking and open-field play, making it a strong choice for running backs, wide receivers, tight ends and defensive backs. It balances protection and visibility so skill-position athletes can perform with confidence without excessive obstruction.

• Position-specific layout for skill-position needs
• Lightweight carbon steel helps minimize added frontal weight
• Maintains face protection while supporting rapid head movement
