Sports Unlimited Universal Football Helmet Visor, Black, Anti-Fog Scratch-Resistant Fit for Most Helmets

The Sports Unlimited Universal Football Visor is a no-tab, anti-fog, scratch-resistant helmet visor that fits most football helmets to protect players' eyes and personalize their look.

Engineered to mount directly to the facemask and designed without tabs, this visor works with a wide range of helmets — including Schutt models with twist-release bumpers and Riddell Speed Flex shells. Available in clear, black (smoke) and mirrored finishes, it helps reduce glare, shields eyes from impact and weather, and lets athletes customize their gear with included sticker packs.

Will this visor attach to my helmet and facemask?

Yes — the Universal Football Visor uses a tabless design to attach to the facemask and clearances that accommodate common release systems. It’s built to be versatile so players and teams don’t need model-specific parts to install a protective shield.

• Tab-free mounting fits most facemasks without drilling.
• Compatible with Schutt helmets that have twist-release bumpers.
• Works with Riddell Speed Flex and similar shell geometries.
• Quick-install hardware secures to existing facemask bars.

How does the visor hold up to fogging, scratches, and rough play?

This visor features an anti-fog coating and a scratch-resistant material to maintain clear vision during play. Those treatments reduce tear-through fog and surface damage so the lens stays readable and reliable through seasons of use.

• Anti-fog coating prevents moisture buildup during high exertion.
• Scratch-resistant surface reduces scoring from impacts and cleaning.
• Durable polycarbonate substrate resists cracking under typical contact.
• Regular cleaning preserves coatings and extends usable life.

Which tint should I choose and what customization options are included?

Pick clear for maximum visibility in low light, smoke/black to reduce brightness and mirrored for glare control and a bold look. The visor ships with five sticker packs—over 50 emojis and player numbers—so players can add personality or apply team identifiers.

• Clear: ideal for indoor or twilight conditions.
• Black/smoke: reduces glare and bright sunlight distraction.
• Mirror: maximizes glare reduction and creates a striking appearance.
• Sticker packs include emojis, numbers and decorative elements.

How do I care for and maintain the visor?

Gentle care keeps the coatings effective and the lens clear: rinse with water, use a soft cloth and mild soap when needed, and avoid abrasive pads or solvents that can abrade the scratch-resistant layer. Store the visor in a protective sleeve to prevent accidental surface damage off the field.

• Rinse dirt with lukewarm water before wiping.
• Use a microfiber cloth and mild detergent for cleaning.
• Avoid chemical cleaners and abrasive scrubbers.
• Keep in a case or cloth sleeve when not mounted.
