SMITH Daredevil Youth Goggles, White + Rc36 Carbonic-x Lens, One Size — OTG, Helmet-Compatible

The SMITH Daredevil Youth Goggles in white are semi-rimless kids' snow goggles with a cylindrical Carbonic-x RC36 lens for clarity, impact resistance and an expanded field of view.

Designed for young riders who need reliable eye protection without sacrificing comfort or compatibility, these goggles combine Smith's lens technology and a kid-specific over-the-glass fit. The semi-rimless frame delivers an unobstructed sightline, while the Carbonic-x RC36 lens balances lightweight strength with improved airflow to reduce fog. Integration with Smith helmets and floating foam construction keeps the fit secure and comfortable on long days at the hill.

How do these goggles improve vision and reduce fog on the mountain?

The RC36 Carbonic-x cylindrical lens is engineered for optical clarity and resilience against impacts common in youth use. Venting and lens shape help channel airflow across the lens surface, lowering the chance of fog buildup during activity.

• Carbonic-x lens material resists impact while staying lightweight
• Cylindrical shape promotes a wide, unobstructed view
• Strategic venting and frame airflow reduce condensation
• Anti-fog properties from integrated lens treatments and ventilation

Will these fit over my child’s prescription glasses?

Yes — the Daredevil Youth uses a kid’s over-the-glass (OTG) design with floating foam to prevent pressure on eyeglass temples. This makes it possible for children who wear glasses to ski or ride comfortably without shifting or pinching.

• Floating foam creates space for most children's eyeglass frames
• OTG clearance reduces temple and nose pressure
• Secure strap and frame geometry keep glasses and goggles aligned
• Compatible with many Smith helmets for stable integration

How comfortable and secure are these goggles with helmets and helmets?

The design prioritizes integration with Smith helmets to provide consistent comfort, ventilation, and a secure fit. The strap, frame curvature, and foam layers work together to minimize gaps and movement while riding.

• Multi-layer floating foam conforms to small faces for comfort
• Helmet-compatible strap geometry prevents snagging or rocking
• Semi-rimless frame reduces weight and improves downward vision
• Durable strap and buckle materials hold fit through active use

What makes these goggles a good choice for young freeriders and beginners?

The Daredevil Youth balances protection, vision, and ease of use so it’s suitable for kids learning to navigate varying terrain. It’s thoughtfully built to be forgiving on the mountain while offering the performance features young riders need.

• Wide field of view to boost situational awareness
• Impact-resistant RC36 lens for active, rough use
