WILSON A440 Flash youth infield fastpitch glove, White/Pink/Tie Dye, 11.5" Infield, Right Hand Throw, lightweight breathable

The Wilson A440 Flash 11.5” youth fastpitch infield glove is a lightweight, game-ready mitt built to help new players catch more consistently and feel comfortable while learning the infield and outfield.

This glove combines a forgiving, broken-in feel with breathable materials and an adjustable fit so young athletes can focus on tracking the ball instead of breaking in stiff leather. The 11.5" pocket and rolled welting stabilize the glove’s shape for smoother transfers and consistent catches during practices, backyard play, or early league games. Subtle white, pink, and tie-dye styling gives it personality without overpowering most team colors.

How does this glove help beginners catch more reliably?

The A440 Flash is designed with a responsive pocket and a flexible shape that guides the ball into the center instead of letting it bounce out. That forgiving feel reduces dropped balls and builds confidence while players develop hand-eye coordination.

• Ready-to-play pocket that catches smoothly from first use
• Rolled dual welting keeps a consistent pocket shape
• 11.5" size balances reach and control for youth infielders

Will this glove stay comfortable during long practices and games?

Yes — the glove uses a lightweight construction and a mesh backing that improves airflow around the hand, helping keep the player’s grip dry and comfortable. The soft interior reduces hand irritation so the glove can be worn between innings without distraction.

• Breathable mesh backing for cooling and flexibility
• Soft interior lining for immediate comfort
• Lightweight materials that reduce arm fatigue

Can the fit be adjusted for growing hands?

The glove includes an adjustable wrist closure so players can tighten or loosen the fit quickly. This lets the mitt remain snug through different growth stages and ensures the glove stays secure on every catch and throw.

• Adjustable wrist strap for a custom, stable fit
• Snug fit helps prevent the glove from slipping during play
• Easy adjustments make it practical for team hand-me-downs

Where on the field is this glove best used?

At 11.5", the A440 Flash is optimized for infielders who need quick transfers and for versatile players who also patrol the outfield. The design supports smooth ball movement from glove to hand, useful for middle infield plays and shallow outfield scoops.

• Infield use: quick release for throws to first base
• Outfield use: adequate pocket for popping short fly balls
• Pitching practice: comfortable feel for warmups and drills
