Discraft Ultra-Star 175g Ultimate Discs — 3-Pack White, Orange & Glow, Regulation Weight Textured Grip

The Discraft Ultra-Star 175g bundle is the sport-standard ultimate disc kit — three regulation-weight discs in white, orange, and glow for play anytime.

Designed to match the official specifications used in championship play, this three-disc set gives teams and casual players reliable flight, consistent grip, and the classic Ultra-Star feel. Each disc is precision-molded to 175 grams so throws, catches, and turnovers behave predictably during practices, pick-up games, or tournaments. The addition of a glow variant extends usable hours into low light without changing the aerodynamic performance of the set.

How does the Ultra-Star perform on throws and catches?

The Ultra-Star’s rim profile and aerodynamic shaping produce stable flight and predictable fade, which helps players develop accurate backhands, forehands, and hucks. The contoured grip surface aids secure catches in varied conditions and keeps handling consistent across the three discs.

• 175 g regulation weight for competition-standard flight characteristics
• Engineered rim for stability on long throws and quick release
• Textured grip that improves hold in dry or damp conditions

What makes this bundle useful for teams and practice sessions?

Having three identical-weight discs allows teams to rotate through warm-ups, drills, and scrimmages without juggling different-performance discs. The color variety helps visibility for different drills and the glow disc lets training continue at dusk or in low-light settings.

• Three-disc pack supports simultaneous drills or backups during games
• Color-coded discs reduce confusion during fast play and drills
• Glow option increases practice time when daylight is limited

Will these discs hold up under regular outdoor use?

Ultra-Star discs are manufactured to be durable for repeated throws and catches on grass and turf. While rugged, like all plastic sports equipment they will show wear over time; normal games and practice won’t affect the flight profile for extended periods.

• Sturdy plastic construction resists cracking and major deformation
• Consistent molding reduces warping that alters flight
• Glow disc uses light-reactive material for visibility without compromising durability

How should I choose between white, orange, and glow during play?

Pick the white disc for traditional visibility against green fields, the orange disc for contrast in cloudy or cluttered backgrounds, and the glow disc when natural light is fading. Teams often assign colors for specific roles—pulls, handlers, or for defensive drills—to speed communication.

• White: classic visibility on outdoor fields in daylight
• Orange: high contrast for cloudy or autumn environments
• Glow: best for evening sessions and low-light practice
