Wham-O Ultimate Frisbee 175g is a regulation-weight flying disc built to UPA specifications for consistent, competitive play.

Engineered to the weight and diameter standards used in organized Ultimate, this Wham-O disc delivers predictable flight and durable performance for pickup games, club practices, and tournaments. It carries the Approved specification for the sport and is crafted to balance distance, control, and handling for players of varying skill levels. Colors and artwork vary by batch, and the disc is manufactured overseas to meet consistent quality and tolerance.

What makes this disc suitable for organized Ultimate play?

The Wham-O 175g model is matched to the weights and dimensions used by many leagues, so throws behave as expected during competitive play. Its mass and rim profile support stable hucks, reliable forehands, and controllable touch passes.

• Standard 175 grams weight for predictable inertia and wind response.
• Approximately 10.75-inch diameter that fits league regulations.
• Balanced rim design for a mix of distance and control.
• Consistent molding process to maintain uniform flight from disc to disc.

How does its construction influence flight and handling?

Material and shape are tuned to produce steady glides and manageable turns without excessive wobble. The disc's profile helps skilled players shape throws while remaining forgiving for developing techniques.

• Rigid yet resilient plastic for long-lasting shape retention.
• Rim contour that supports both backhand and forehand grips.
• Weight distribution that reduces erratic flutter on long throws.
• Textured undersurface for predictable release feel.

Will the varying colors or graphics affect performance?

Visual variations do not change the flight characteristics when discs meet the same weight and size tolerances. Different colors or printed graphics are cosmetic and help teams or players identify their discs during play.

• Color and design choices are aesthetic only, not structural.
• Bright colors improve visibility across turf and sky conditions.
• Unique graphics help track individual discs in multi-team settings.
• All variants adhere to the same weight/diameter standards.

How should I care for this disc to keep it competition-ready?

Proper care preserves the disc's symmetry and flight. Avoid prolonged exposure to high heat, rough surfaces, and heavy compression to maintain its shape and performance.

• Store flat in shade to prevent warping from heat.
• Rinse off dirt; avoid abrasive surfaces that nick the rim.
• Rotate discs in practice to spread wear evenly.
• Inspect for cracks before tournament use to ensure safety and consistency.
