Esky emergency sleeping bag, Orange, 4 Pack — Mylar-lined waterproof bivvy with compasses

The Esky Emergency Sleeping Bag 4-pack is a compact, Mylar-lined survival bivvy with high-visibility orange, waterproof protection and compasses for basic navigation.

Keep a lightweight, space-saving layer of protection in your car, pack, or emergency kit. These single-person sleeping bags are made from reflective mylar to retain heat, resist wind and moisture, and make you easier to spot in low-light conditions. Each kit includes a small storage sack and a precision compass to help maintain direction when you need it most.

How does this emergency sleeping bag help in cold or wet conditions?

The mylar material reflects most body heat back to the user while also blocking wind and water. It creates a sheltered micro-environment around the body to help slow heat loss and keep you drier during exposure to the elements.

• Reflective mylar designed to reflect up to 90% of radiated body heat
• Waterproof and windproof exterior that sheds rain and breeze
• Tear- and puncture-resistant for rugged outdoor use

Will this bag be visible to rescuers and easy to carry?

The vivid orange color and reflective surface increase daytime and nighttime visibility for search teams. Each bivvy packs into a small carry pouch with a strap so you can stow it inside a vehicle, backpack, or attach it to gear for quick access.

• High-visibility orange for greater contrast in natural settings
• Reflective surface for improved night-time detection
• Compact stuff sack with strap for storage or attachment

What additional gear comes with the emergency bivvy and why does it matter?

Each unit includes a compact compass to help orient yourself when landmarks are unclear. The compass is designed to resist magnetic interference and provides simple directional guidance alongside the protective sleeping bag.

• One compact, anti-interference compass per set for basic navigation
• Storage pouch to keep the bivvy clean and portable
• Four individual bags in the pack for sharing in group situations or spreading among vehicles

How durable and reusable is the Mylar bivvy for non-emergency uses?

While intended as a single-person emergency shelter, the construction is resilient enough for occasional reuse in outdoor and recreational settings. The material resists tearing and punctures, and proper dry storage prolongs service life.

• Durable Mylar resists punctures and abrasion for repeated short-term use
• Can serve as an emergency blanket, groundsheet, or signaling surface
• Store dry in the included pouch to maximize lifespan

Who is this for: The Esky Emergency Sleeping Bag 4-pack is aimed at hikers, drivers, outdoor workers, and anyone assembling a vehicle or home emergency kit. It’s useful for solo adventurers who want a compact heat-retention layer, families who want multiple spares, and agencies that need visible, low-cost shelter and signaling tools. It’s not a substitute for multi-season sleeping bags in extended backcountry camping, but it’s an invaluable lightweight option for short-term protection, visibility, and orientation when conditions turn unexpected.
