Esky Emergency Sleeping Bag Mylar Survival Bivy, Green - 4 Pack, Waterproof & Reflective

An Esky Emergency Sleeping Bag 4-pack is a compact, high-visibility Mylar bivy set that retains body heat, sheds water and includes compasses for basic navigation.

When you need lightweight, packable protection from cold, wind and wet conditions, these emergency sleeping bags offer an affordable, space-saving solution. Each Mylar bivy is engineered to reflect heat and block moisture while the bright orange exterior and reflective surface increase visibility for rescuers. Included compasses and storage pouches make the set useful for cars, bikes, hiking packs, and emergency kits.

How does the Esky bivy keep you warm without bulky gear?

The bivy uses NASA-designed Mylar film to reflect up to most of your radiated body heat back toward you, reducing heat loss in exposed conditions. Its windproof and waterproof construction minimizes convective and evaporative cooling, helping preserve core warmth when layered over clothing.

• Mylar composite lining reflects body heat efficiently.
• Lightweight fabric reduces bulk while retaining warmth.
• Sealed seams and surface resist wind and moisture.
• Compact size fits inside backpacks or glove compartments.

Can the Esky emergency bag actually help rescuers find you?

Yes — the vivid orange color combined with a reflective surface increases daytime and low-light visibility. The bright exterior and reflective sheen create contrast against natural backgrounds and amplify flashlight or searchlight returns during rescue operations.

• High-visibility orange exterior for daytime spotting.
• Reflective surface enhances flashlight and headlamp returns.
• Easy to unfold and orient to maximize visibility.

What other uses do these Mylar sleeping bags have in the field?

Beyond serving as an emergency sleeping bag, each bivy can function as a groundsheet, improvised poncho, rain tarp, sun shade, or signaling device. Their tear-resistant and waterproof properties make them adaptable for temporary shelter and equipment protection.

• Use as a ground cover to stay dry and insulated from cold surfaces.
• Convert into a makeshift rain or sun shelter when needed.
• Fold or clip to backpacks for quick emergency access.
• Durable enough for multiple emergency deployments.

How do the included compasses and storage pouches add value?

Each package includes compact anti-interference compasses to support basic direction finding when navigating away from hazards or awaiting help. The zip or draw storage pouches keep bivies clean, compact, and ready to clip onto belts, bikes, or vehicle interiors.

• Anti-interference compasses provide simple directional guidance.
• Storage pouches compress bivies to pocketable size.
• Straps or clips allow quick attachment to gear and vehicles.
• Set of four ensures multiple people or locations are covered.
