Kastaplast K1 Berg disc putter 170–175g — slow, stable putter with thumb track

The Kastaplast K1 Berg 170-175g is a slow, stable putter built for short drives, confident approaches and consistent putts even in wind.

Engineered in Sweden and molded in Kastaplast's durable K1 plastic, the Berg balances a steady flight with an ergonomic feel. It resists long roll-aways, holds lines well at higher speeds off the tee, and offers a thumb track profile that feels distinct in hand. Choose the Berg when you need a putter that lands predictably and shapes smoothly without an aggressive fade.

How does the Berg behave on short drives and approaches?

The Berg is intentionally slow and stable, making it ideal for controlled short drives and approach shots. Its flight resists excessive glide and long carries, so it reliably drops near the target instead of overshooting.

• Speed 1, Glide 1 — low speed and minimal carry for predictable landings
• Turn 0, Fade 2 — straight at speed with a gentle finishing fade
• Stable at high release speeds — useful for shaping lines off the tee
• Designed to avoid long hovering overshoots in windy conditions

What makes the Berg’s grip different from other putters?

The Berg features an ergonomic grip with a pronounced thumb track on the top that remains subtle underneath, offering a unique tactile reference in every throw. That thumb track helps you seat the disc consistently without changing feel during release, improving repeatability.

• Top-side thumb track for consistent thumb placement
• Ergonomic rim profile for comfortable fingertip or power grips
• Subtle bottom-side profile keeps release smooth and predictable
• Designed for reliable feel across multiple throwing styles

Will the Berg handle windy conditions and different shot shapes?

Yes — the Berg’s stable-to-fading flight and controlled glide make it well-suited for windier rounds and for shaping lines. You can trust it not to float well past the basket, while still getting useful stability when thrown harder from the tee.

• Stable flight keeps the disc from ballooning in gusts
• Moderate fade ensures dependable finish near the landing zone
• Good high-speed stability for line shaping off the tee
• Weight range 170–175g balances control and wind penetration
