Mikasa footvolley ball Size 5 — Blue unisex vulcanized synthetic leather for controlled touch and durable play

The Mikasa FT5 FQ B is a purpose-built footvolley ball — a size 5, vulcanized 32-panel synthetic leather ball engineered for controlled touch, consistent flight, and durable play on sand and court.

This ball blends the feel of a traditional football with the responsiveness needed for footvolley: lighter rebound than some soccer balls, precise trajectory for setting and spiking, and a build meant to resist abrasion. Constructed from high-quality synthetic leather and a vulcanized 32-panel shell, the Mikasa FT5 FQ B aims to deliver repeatable performance while keeping weight and circumference within FIFA Quality tolerances.

How does this ball affect control and touch during footvolley matches?

The Mikasa FT5 FQ B offers a predictable, soft touch that helps players execute sets, volleys, and accurate serves. Its synthetic leather surface provides consistent contact, reducing unexpected bounces and helping players place the ball where they intend.

• Vulcanized 32-panel construction for stable flight and even surface tension
• High-quality synthetic leather for a controlled, tactile feel
• Weight 410–450 g tuned for footvolley-style rebound and control
• Circumference 65–67 cm matches familiar size 5 handling

Is the construction durable enough for sand and recreational courts?

The ball’s vulcanized construction and synthetic leather exterior increase resistance to abrasion from sand and outdoor surfaces. While designed for footvolley use, proper care—like rinsing sand off and avoiding prolonged sun exposure—will extend lifespan.

• Vulcanization bonds panels for fewer weak seams
• Synthetic leather resists tearing and scuffing from sand
• Consistent weight range prevents premature deformation

What are the size and performance specifications I should expect?

The Mikasa FT5 FQ B is a size 5 ball with specifications that align with common football dimensions, offering a familiar scale for players transitioning from soccer to footvolley. Its listed weight and circumference give predictable handling and allow competitive-style play.

• Size: 5 (standard adult size)
• Circumference: 65–67 cm for consistent bounce and aerodynamics
• Weight: 410–450 grams tuned for footvolley dynamics
• FIFA Quality model designation indicating manufacturing standards

How should I maintain the Mikasa footvolley ball to keep performance consistent?

Routine care keeps the ball responsive and extends service life. Simple actions like cleaning, proper inflation, and storage away from extreme heat will preserve the shell and internal bladder.

• Rinse off sand and dirt after beach play and air to dry
• Inflate to the manufacturer’s recommended pressure; avoid overinflation
• Store indoors away from direct sunlight and rough surfaces
• Check seams periodically for wear and repair or retire when integrity declines

Who is this for: The Mikasa FT5 FQ B suits adult recreational and club-level footvolley players who want a size 5 ball with a reliable, controlled feel. It’s a solid option for organizers stocking equipment, coaches teaching technical skills, and football fans seeking a giftable, sport-specific ball. If you prioritize consistent touch, a durable vulcanized shell, and specifications that mirror standard football sizing, this Mikasa model is designed to meet those needs without technical complexity.
